These are a little wider, and a little more pliable than the factory-issued valence clips that came with the blinds. This is a good thing, as the original ones were super easy to crack, at which point they become useless. The wider width provides a very solid grip on the valence piece and the frame of the blinds, which is good if you use the valence piece to "hook" the excess drawstring on when the blinds are pulled up.

When I first moved into my house I replaced some valance clips, but the first time I made a purchase I bought them from a blinds website and they were expensive. These low priced valance clips were actually better. When you snap the valance in it's nice and tight, like it should be. They're clear, so it should go with any color. My valances are white. Anyways, I'm glad to have the valances back up and very glad the price was good. Inexpensive and got the job done! Thank you. The good news -- they worked great. As others have said, my original clips were crispy and seemed like too elaborate and delicate of a design to begin with. These clips, on the other hand, appear to be heftier and of a simpler design that seems to make them inherently more flexible. I had a great time replacing them all over the house, with some to spare.

Fit perfectly to hold our window valances. They are plastic pieces so not sure how they will hold up or if they will discolor from sun damage like our old ones (which were not purchased by amazon) but for the time they look good and do the job.

I took down all my blinds to paint but unfortunately many of the clips had become brittle over time and broke. I could not get replacements at the home improvement store so I ordered these and they were perfect!

Exactly the piece my wood blinds had been needing, for years i would superglue these kind of clips on mine when they'd inevitably break when removing blinds to wash, my old ones actually wouldn't take the bond of superglue very well, which lead me to a search awhile online in the off chance you could buy replacements, was so happy to see they had them. I also received the order by mail within 2 days, fastest amazon shipment id ever gotten, and i don't use prime. They were even a bit thicker than my originals, perfect fit still for height but width makes them stronger. Awesome!

They are plastic, not so sturdy, and become brittle over time. But really easy to install. Since there is no alternative for this repair, this is the ticket.

The hook really had to stretch a lot to latch in place, but it didn't break. I hope these don't become brittle with age as my original pieces apparently did. But I do have lots of spares, now.
