I don’t know the official answer but I have used both and other than the size of dose (oil is a larger pill but smaller effective dosage) I feel like these mineral capsules are more effective. Maybe just because it is more concentrated?

Caprylic oil is a medium-chain triglyceride. Mineral caprylic is a salt formed by the combination of an element with a +2 charge, these include calcium, magnesium, and zinc. Remember that table salt is sodium chloride (NaCl) the sodium has the positive charge and the chloride has the negative change. In this case, caprylic acid has -2 charge and the elements (calcium or magnesium or zinc) have +2 charge. It is thought that the bound between the two is broken down by stomach acid, freeing the element and caprylic acid to be absorbed by the body.
