Only produces a very tiny spark after multiple attempts.

Me gusta que trae el fire starter, y los tubitos, justo para meterlos en la cangurera, viene con un mosteton y tres piedritas de repuesto como las de los zippo. Es raro que me lo entregaron en un color azul metálico y el logo no es el mismo de la marca que aparece en las fotos. Lo malo es que a los tres días de recibirlo mis gastos confundieron el cilindrito con un juguete y me perdieron el kit, pero me gustó tanto que lo voy a volver a comprar ahora en la quincena

I expected the item to be small. There was room enough inside the case to fit some other things to make this a nice kit to hang on my go bag. The rolling spark wheel worked nicely, even though it is pretty tiny. While I still prefer a flint and striker, this was a cute option to have as it will be a backup. Not really an essential item but it was as I had hoped for and seems good quality.

Bought it and left it in my hunting backpack, my only gripe is I wish it came abit bigger like say a standard sized BIC lighter. I tried it and was surprised to see how quickly it lit up a fire in the firepit.

This striker is a reasonable alternative to ferro rods etc. It holds what you need to get a fire going in a very compact, WATERPROOF package. You can clip it on just about anywhere on a pack or your clothing so that it is handy when needed. If throws a reasonable spark but not like a Fire Steel or Light My Fire type of striker. However it is not billed as such so no exorbitant claims or misleading hype. Disappears in the glove box or console until needed. I feel that it is an excellent backup when creating a redundant fire starting system.
