I haven't tried. I applied it to a plastic color changing cup.

Can this be used in an inkjet printer?

Sorry, no. Cutting only. The surface is too slick and not a medium that inkjet ink will dry on.

I want to use this vinyl removable roll for a temporary project. How easily can it be removed? And does it leave any marks?

Peels off easily, and does not leave any residue. If you ever come across any that does leave residue, it's easily removed with Eucalyptus Oil in any case.

can this be used for shirts on explore air 2?

No, this is adhesive vinyl, you need heat transfer vinyl for shirts.
