I am a picky chef, and it’s sturdy enough.
Could this thing have been manufactured stronger? Sure… But it doesn’t need to be. Maybe the reviewers who are complaining that it’s a piece of junk got a bad batch… But I’m a really picky person about my kitchen tools, and I have no issues with it. As a test, I stacked three cooked tortillas on top of each other, and it had no problem going through easily without any damage (nice clean cuts) to the tortillas, nor the cutter. If you can cut through three stacked tortillas, that’s good enough for me. That’s certainly more pressure than I plan on using it for in regards to making noodles… I don’t think you really need to put this through the dishwasher to clean it, but I’ve run it through three times with no issues. For the price, it’s definitely a good deal. Recommended.

Nice for fettuccine!
This is a nice cutter if you do not have a pasta attachment for your mixer. My only issue is that you do have to bear down pretty hard and separate your noodles by hand. Overall it’s a great little pasta cutter.
