Washed this item Out of the packaging on gentle cycle and dried on low heat and it ruined the waterproofing making it useless.

Muy buen producto, pero en efecto el fondo es de tipo plastico lo cual se calienta y hay que tomar en cuenta la dimencion vs el colchon ya que varian en las medidas

Sealy Posturepedic Maximum Protection Mattress Protector, Full
It is the best mattress protector I've ever used. The backing is not vinyl coating (or look similar to vinyl) which I found on most of waterproof mattress protectors/covers. It covers a mattress completely. Most of high-rating mattress protectors only cover top and sides. What is the point of protecting again dust mites if a mattress protector has open bottom? Be aware of it was designed for 15" thick mattress and the sides are not stretchable fabric.
