Very disappointed. Its been sitting boxed pack
We got this for splash page function. This didn't work for us. Very disappointed. Its been sitting boxed pack. No use. Wasted my money.

Firmware defective
I have 4 of these units I maintain for clients. For the past two years we were using the R2 product which worked perfectly as advertised. Since this unit was discontinued by the manufacturer we have been forced to use the R3 product for new installations. None of the 4 R3 installations work properly. The firmware does not produce proper logs of the client usage which is a needed feature for our use. Complaints to support are not addressed and they (fire4systems) insist that there is nothing wrong with the product. What disturbs me is that this is a blatant lie/coverup of the firmware problems. I have 4 units in different locations, different networks, different ISP connections all with the same problem which fire4systems says does not exist. I certainly will never purchase another unit because of poor tech support and lack of honesty. Currently looking for a new supplier. Suggestions appreciated. A robust and simple install - every time !
Hello - just wanted to give you my input from my personal experience. I have found the GIS products and firmware to be solid and without hiccups. I recently installed a GIS-R3 for a local (large) car dealership and found it to be one of the quickest/easiest installs ever. I always confirm the Firmware and test it before deployment... the GIS website has all the latest Firmwares for all products conveniently available. I have installed MANY GIS products in my local market - mostly the R2 which is still available and in most cases the best solution for my clients. I really appreciate the ability to granually configure custom features of the GIS gateways... I can "brand" and secure it in minutes... it is both broad and deep in it's customization while remaining simple and robust. Lastly, the support I get from the GIS staff is phenomenal.. they are prompt with my email inquiries and are considerate and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good about these products.
