Needed an HDMI to older Apple Thunderbolt (ca 2015) port cable on my MacBook Pro. This cable seems to do the trick nicely...no issues with connectivity and picture quality is as good as my HDMI to HDMI connection. Nicely constructed and it appears it will last for quite some time as long as I don't kink the cable...true with any data cable!
