Purchased this to replace my worn out Anchor Mate. After removing it from the package the first thing I realized was there was no mounting hardware at all. This is the time when living in rural country is a pain. So take a trip to town, get the hardware. Holes marked and drilled. Unit bolted down, THEN. as you can see from he picture and video, the internal hardware in the unit was left loose from the factory during manufacturing. I had to remove the unit and tighten what the factory failed to do. The safety chain/cable shown in the picture was not with the unit. I will have to by a safety for it. Once everything was corrected, installed and tested, the unit performed strong and nicely. It lifts and parks the 20lb anchor with ease.

Use mine on a 23 foot pontoon boat on Lesser Slave Lake, Alberta Canada. I have been impressed with it's power and ease of use.

Purchased this unit, installed the unit. Had to fish the wires back to the battery. Once I had it all wired, does not work. Have power to the unit going into the module inside, nothing coming out of the control module. Can't go to the manufacture website, the IP has been changed and whoever the administrator is for Trac Outdoors apparently does not look at the emails or website. If you go through Amazon for product support it takes you to Camco.

We lost the anchor after the first use. Rolled right off the damn spool. It is not knotted or tied to the spool at all!!

Ordered wrong one.
