The scent is nice ( I think it's the Shea). I haven't found a co-wash that won't weigh down and completely flatten my hair-- until now! I have fine and wavy hair 2c. It's near impossible to keep my hair and scalp happy at the same time. Some co-washes are too heavy and leave my scalp oily. Lathering shampoo completely tangles and wrecks my hair, so that even a good conditioner can't salvage it. Aveda was my go-to, but it's pricey,especially now that they no longer sell the liter, and their website is a hassle to use. I am so glad I have this now! This product leaves my hair soft, with no damage, and I can use it every day, so my scalp never feels dirty. The moisture helps define the curl. Awesome value! This is actually good for my hair and I couldn't be happier! Thanks to this co-wash I don't have to shave my head and buy a wig!

This is my all time favorite co wash, and I have tried many from low cost to salon: As I Am, Not Your Mother’s, Carol’s Daughter, and some salon ones that are ridiculously overpriced, and just not worth it due to the cost. I have very over processed hair, and an oily scalp. I strip my re growth twice a year to a level nine or ten, and then I use Pravana to do fantasy colors. I touch up my color once every four to six weeks depending on what vivids I am using, and only wash my hair once a week. This has been my routine for the last six years. As such, my hair is dry and porous (I mean, I use Olaplex and Moroccan Oil, but I’m rough on my hair!), but my scalp is still on the oily side. It’s a fun combination of things to work with. I want something that doesn’t strip my color, gets rid of my buildup issues, and gives my dry ends moisture. Aunt Jackie’s does it all. Not a trace of heaviness at the scalp (I get the most buildup from As I Am, which is a real shame because it smells the best in my opinion), doesn’t strip color any faster than any other sulfate free shampoo or co wash, and I get soft shiny hair as a bonus. With this co wash, I am able to go about ten days between washing my hair compared to my usual seven. I definitely use a good amount, and “wash” twice in a row to make sure I get my scalp super clean. The smell isn’t my favorite (it has a light floral scent), but since it is on the light side it doesn’t linger in the hair much after rinsing. I highly recommend giving this a try if you hair is heavily processed, or curly, or both.

It’s a nice scent & makes my hair feel clean, but not very moisturizing. Instructions on the bottle tells you to use the product twice while washing hair so it ensures your hair is free of build-up, so if you have thick hair, it can be gone within a few washes.

My naturally thick, coarse, dry, curly/frizzy hair hasn't looked this good in I can't remember how long, and that was just using this co-wash without any additional conditioners. I'm a grumpy sceptic and didn't expect a co-wash to make this much difference, but it did. My hair is clean (of course) and it's actually softer! And my CURLS! They're much neater with more curl and less frizz. I don't normally spend time peering at myself in the mirror, but occasionally I'll look up while washing my hands and almost do an astonished double-take. That's really my hair! I'm usually very annoyed by 'fragrance' in hair care products but this one isn't too bad. There's more scent than I'd like, but it's not to an obnoxious level and it doesn't linger overly long after my hair dries.

this actually works fantastically, it's a good amount for what you pay. i have to give this three stars because to me personally? this smells kinda like that raid ant pesticide that comes in a can which makes me kinda dislike using it despite it doing a good job. might not buy again due to this. my hair feels great after using it though.

I could go on and on about this product! It moisturizes my hair like no other! It makes my curls super super curly, and after I let it sit out for a second, I can still feel the moisture it provides in my hair! I love how thick it goes on to my hair, but how it's still spreads out and around! And is also one of my favorite smells ever! Smells like homemade slime with essential oils, and I love it! And this literally changed my hair, and I will never go back to another product! Love this so much!

I am Caucasian with curls/waves and this product is nice and lightweight so my curls are bouncier.

I have long, fine graying hair that is now of all consistencies and some of which thinks it's curly and most of which doesn't seem to know what it is. I cannot do regular shampoo without my head turning into some freakishly scary puff ball and after trying TONS of products I found this wonderful shampoo. This shampoo isn't marketed for hair like mine but it's perfect. Now I can wash my hair with this shampoo and my hair looks shiny, smooth and has wonderful body.

NON È UNO SHAMPOO NON È UN BALSAMO NON È PER CAPELLI LISCI O POROSI è un prodotto che lava via le impurità ma soprattutto i prodotti che si accumulano sui capelli afro. Io lo utilizzo soprattutto d estate dopo la piscina o il mare visto che idrata o a metà settimana se voglio cambiare stile ed ho bisogno di una rinfrescata. Ottimo dopo gli allenamenti. Ricci afro 4A bassa porosità ed ad alta densità.

Il profumo e ottimo e anche la consistenza. Sento il cuoio capelluto pulito e i capelli profumano. Li ho corti e quindi gioco facile. Per ora bene. Penso che ricomprerò il prodotto. Arrivato sigillato e ben riparato nella scatola.

Ha la consistenza del balsamo, il che è normale per un co-wash. Detto questo, se i capelli sono ben bagnati, fa comunque una bella schiumetta. Il profumo è molto particolare, secondo me - non so perché mi ricorda quasi i saponi di una volta - ma a me piace moltissimo. I capelli rimangono belli morbidi, ricci e brillanti e anche il cuoio capelluto (il mio è sul secco andante) è contento. Pensavo che un co-wash non pulisse gran ché, ma fa il suo dovere e rinfresca bene (ovviamente, non l’ho provato su capelli veramente sporchi/unti perché non è pensato per quello). Molto contenta dell'acquisto, probabilmente lo riprenderò in futuro.

Premetto che ho un riccio 3a/3b e che uso prodotti CGM per cui ero molto interessata a questo prodotto. L'ho provato con entusiasmo, il profumo è veramente fantastico e pulisce bene però veramente lascia i miei ricci pesanti. Il giorno stesso va bene, ma il giorno dopo a meno di non riprovare con uno scrunch a capello umidissimo lascia i ricci pesanti...peccato...
