I can't pretend to know everything this Docking port does (the instructions are little more than a "this is a port, that is another port" kind of thing) but I do know that this is a great little thing that has oodles of uses.First of all it's fairly lightweight to hold but very sturdy. So I'd say its easily portable (no worries in a bag) but I've no worries that it won't withstand the usual bumps and bruises of everyday life/the commute.I've been working from home but now we're starting to go back into the office on a trial basis. This has been great for transferring/syncing information, setting up laptop/tablet at work, mirroring screens onto our VDI set up and putting information on the TV's in the (socially distanced) meeting rooms.There's very little lag time and almost as soon as you've plugged stuff into it/through it you are on your way.It's a great item and one that I'm sure has got a lot more uses than I have for it, but that makes it a fantastic buy.Doesn't include a DC power adaptor/plug but these are fairly common aren't they so it would be a nice addition but not a deal breaker.

High quality dock that comes with a USB-c mini cable. I have been using this dock for several months and I have not had any issues since I purchased it. It is connected to 2 monitors that extend the screen and several usb (keyboard mouse dongles). I was going to buy another one as a spare but amazon stopped making these.

Pour ma part fonctionne parfaitement avec mon lenovo. Très bon rapport qualité prix par rapport aux stations des fabriquants habituels.J'ai branché sans problème un écran, clavier/souris sans fils, casque audio et prise ethernet

Causa problemas cuando mi portátil arranca.

Mein Sohn hat ein Kabelchaos auf dem Schreibtisch: Lan, USB-Tastatur, USB-Maus, USB-Drucker, HDMI-Bildschirm, 5mm-Klinken-Kopfhörer, externe USB-Soundbar,... Das alles an seinem Laptop, den er natürlich ab und an mit zu Freunden schleppt und dann vorher alles abpopeln muss. Mit der Docking-Station hat er jetzt kein Problem mehr. Achso, alles läuft mit einem hp Gaming-Notebook.Die Docking-Station sieht in der Metallhülle sehr wertig aus und ist auch nicht gerade leicht. All das spricht auf den ersten Blick für Qualität. Natürlich muss die Docking-Station zum Betrieb mit Strom versorgt werden und das erhält sie über USB-C oder ein Netzteil. Beides - oder mindestens eins davon - liegt nicht bei. Das kurze beiliegende USB-C-Kabel ist für den Anschluss am Computer gedacht.Zunächst alle Perepherie-Geräte in die Docking-Station gesteckt, dann die DS mit dem Laptop verbunden, kurz warten (ist macht Bing-Bong) und alle Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei. Alles läuft über das USB-C-Verbindungskabel ohne Probleme und ohne Zeitverzug - auch das Internet wird ohne Probleme durchgeschleift.Das normale FullHD-Bild auf dem externen Bildschirm kommt schlierenfrei und sauber an. Durch die DS hat mein Sohn jetzt wieder USB-C-Ports gewonnen, die wirklich einwandfrei ihren Dienst versehen, so wie sie solle mit den entsprechenden Geschwindigkeiten. Auf dem Schreibtisch sieht sie wirklich edel aus und dient dazu, das Kabelwirrwarr endlich in Zaum zu halten.Warum ein Punkt Abzug. Es ist das zu kurze Verbindungskabel zwischen DS und Rechner. Nicht immer kann man die DS in die Nähe des USB-C-Ports des Laptops stellen, 50cm wären schon schön gewesen. Dass kein Netzteil dabei ist kann ich ja verstehen, aber nicht mal ein USB-Kabel zum Anschluss an der Steckdose? Bitte, auch das hätte die Box vermutlich nicht teurer gemacht und die Kunden könnten ganz zufrieden sein. Die Funktion ist aber ohne Einschränkungen top.
