The best Powder to make Nutritized Cat Food From Chicken
Pro Tip, buy the .68 cent per lb chicken quarters at Walmart. They come in a 10 lb bag.Separate 10 lb bag into 4 portions. Zip lock and freeze unused portionsIn an instantpot pressure cook 45 min 2 of the leg thigh quarters.Once cool, separate bones from meat. Add back in some of the broth for extra liquid for your kitty.Once cooled it should be somewhat gel like in consistencyAdd in the powder starting with less than recommended to get your cat used to it.Work up to the recommended amount. Store food in the fridge. Our Kitties love their Nutritized chicken. It's less expensive than commercial canned food and it's healthier.

Complete quality food that kitty likes
I was very happy to find this product. Our kitty was not well this winter and lost weight. I started researching cat nutrition when I found she really loves cooked chicken. Unfortunately, muscle meats, while necessary, do NOT contain all the nutrients that kitties need. U-Stew solves this problem, adding in the missing nutrients. It's simple to make a high-quality cat food out of various muscle meats. I just stew up ground meat, or else chop up some for the pot. After it's done, I use a stick blender to grind it further to the desired consistency. When the mixture is cool, add the supplement, freeze it in ice cube trays, then transfer the cubes to gallon-sized freezer bags. Also, when I give Miss Kitty bits of chicken, turkey, pork, or beef as a treat (which is most evenings), I dip them first into the powder so she gets food which is nutritionally complete. Actually, this is how I introduced her to the supplement---as an additive to her treats. She didn't seem to notice the difference. I currently feed her a mix of home-made and canned cat food, plus her treats, and she is gaining weight nicely.

Cat supplement for homemade cat food
I cooked up some poached salmon for the cats adding this product to it according to directions. And as well as the omega-3 oils. Was quite impressed how much my cats really did enjoy eating this product and was very nice not to see them have to throw up all their food I will purchase this product again when necessary, it’s nice to have something that smells and taste good for the cats.as for the value of the money you pay I would say that this product performs others. this product is easy to use just follow the directions. I would say that on a scale of 1 to 10 for performance I give it a 9.5 Only because some cats may be more finicky than others. Was simple to use and I would say the performance it did was very good. My cats did not get ill and I appreciate the health benefits this product offers. I did a lot of research and this was the one I selected.

cat refused
I spent a lot of time trying to cook various foods for my sweet cat in her end of life and needed this as an additive to supplement home cooked meals with vitamins that cats need. I was thoroughly disappointed when I cooked a large batch of food for her and added this as instructed on package only for her to refuse it completely. However, I made another batch of food without this additive and she ate some of the food. I was going to return it but it isn't returnable for a refund. My cat passed shortly after getting this (but not as a result of the use of it). I was going to return it but there is a no refund policy. This was a lot of money for me to spend while also paying vet bills and tests... true, it was my choice to spend the money trying to help her be well but it wasn't her appetite that was affected, just her ability to digest properly. This offered absolutely no appeal to her in either smell nor taste. It is not cat approved.

Not supplementally complete
A species appropriate diet needs to be balanced. If homemade raw is ground with raw bone the nutrition panel/ ingredients ex:calcium content etc, should be different than meat without bone. This trial package is for only 4lbs of meat (6pbs of catfood ) at a hefty price. I bought this because i forgot to reorder my usual Alnutrin, and prime delivered this quick. My usual brand makes more than 30lbs for the same price but one needs a kitchen scale to carefully measure dosage. Anyway this worked as a last resort and my cats ate it contently so it served its purpose. If you have one or two cats it may be cost effective , but i have more. Have been feeding my cats and dog raw since 1990 when most vets scoffed at the idea. But my holistic vet changed my then IBD cats life by starting on raw. I never went back to canned.

Life saver
Our senior diabetic cat is in remission, likely due to avoiding those gross Rx diets the 2 vets recommended. However, it was very difficult to get him to eat any canned food and feeding times range from 45min to over an hour. Then we bought a trial size of this product (chicken added to raw beef) and feeding time is now 10minutes. He can’t wait to be fed. Significantly improved quality of life for all concerned! He's climbing again and acting like a kitten. Not bad for a 16y/o cat!

Super Senior
After our Mojo “super senior of 19 years old was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism I began to learn about this disease and how cats are obligate carnivores. First and foremost I believed the lie that commercial cat food sells. This cat was raised on free feeding of kibble. Wish I learned what I know now sooner. Nevertheless we were advised to euthanize. I asked for an appetite stimulant and was determined to change the overall diet to assume proper nutrition. This product is a game changer. I prepare the raw diet myself using chicken hearts, chicken thighs, chicken gizzards, ground turkey, ground beef. This chicken flavor is the first one I’ve tried and might try the other one. Our cat loves this stuff. Although we were also feeding wet commercial we are pulling away from that more and more as our cat is choosing to on his own. I’m so happy this product worked out. Would buy again. Obligate carnivores unite lol

Picky eater is a fan!
I have an older and quite barfy cat for who I have been hunting for a more affordable alternative to Smalls subscription based food. So far she’s into this brand and it’s way easier than making my own food blend for her from scratch. I’ll update if there’s any changes but fingers crossed she continues to enjoy it.
