Perfect cat litter bags
First of all, plastic is evil. I'm doing my best to rid plastic from my life, if you feel the same way and own a cat, buy these bags for cleaning your litter box, they are literally PERFECT and heres why: -I used to use the "green" dog poop bags. These bags come on a plastic roller which is unnecessary when you're not using them in a leash dispenser. ^These bags^ come in a cardboard box NO PLASTIC. The dispenser is like a kleenex box - so perfect for the litter box area. Furthermore, a lot of these "green" dog poop bags are only labelled "green" because they're made from recycled plastic. I applaud recycling plastic, but I really prefer something that will decompose. There are some dog poop bags out there that decompose, but I found these to be too small, expensive, and rip easily. -THESE ARE CHEAP. You get 100 in the box. Thats like, 3 months of cat litter scooping. A lot cheaper that dog poop bags. -These do not rip and are roomy!!! My cat is large, and therefore does some large.... er... business. Plus, litter is heavy. I have never found these bags to rip, and theres plenty of room to tie off the top in a knot. That drives me crazy when I fill up a bag and then its so full I can't tie it in knot. -A lot of people use plastic shopping bags to clean up their cats litter box, and I get it, they're free and you're re-using them. Currently I'm doing this because my grocery stores are not letting you bring your bags due to COVID so I happen to have these plastic bags on hand (bleh). Using these reminds me why they suck - they have holes in them!! -For some reason, I have a lot of trouble opening folded up plastic bags much like aforementioned dog poop bags. I've got slippery fingers or something. These bags are really easy to open. -Seriously, I've had cats a long time and these bags are like a miracle. I recommend them 1000%.

Good quality
It's the only trash bag we will use! Sturdy enough to last until we take to the trash shoot, yet feels great to know we are not sending it to last 100 years in the landfill.

Adequate and Fairly priced, but can be easy to tear
These work well and do their intended job, but you need to be careful as you dispense them or shake them open because they can tear down the seam and you wind up composting the ripped compost bag. This was a recurring issue at first, but I've learned to be more gentle with them. I'm not sure a more solid construction would be a great idea, as it would increase the decomposition time and make the overall product less effective. I'll keep buying these and hope some science magic makes them more durable, yet equally effective at decomposition.

These Are the Real Deal
These are the real deal. Certified compostable. FYI, I use this bag only for food items, and it gets changed out every night after dinner, so I do not know how it would hold up if used for more then one total day?
