I was initially very skeptical about this guitarlele, but after reading countless positive reviews, videos and pictures, I was convinced to give this product a try. It arrived yesterday and I am very happy and satisfied with this guitarlele. It arrived in an oversized box filled with lots of stuffing paper for padding so very well packaged to prevent damage. The gig bag it came with is great! Well padded good material, nice grey color with lots of pockets. It came with all the promised products of clip on tuner, picks, strap, and hex key. The tuner is a really good tuner, actually better than the one I currently have. The Kmise guitarlele is very well built. There are no obvious flaws on the outside and even the insides looks like a professional luthier crafted it. I have an Ohana ukulele that is more than twice the price and although the outside is good, the inside looks like an amateur built it with stray glue and mis-cut pieces all over the place. Luckily the poor internal craftsmanship doesn't seem to affect the sound. And speaking of sound, this guitarlele sounds great. It is loud and has a good balance of resonance and sustain to carry the sound of all 6 strings. My other more pricey uke's sound a little better, but considering the price of the Kmise, the sound is a very very close second, so I'm not complaining but just stating a fact. And for playability, the size is perfect for traveling or just keeping it next to my couch to play whenever I want and the 20 inch scale length is large enough to make it sound more like a guitar with the deeper bass, but small enough to keep it officially a ukulele, especially since it is tuned ADGCEA, which the uke shares the top 4 notes. And the fret board has a nice low action, but does come with a key to adjust it if necessary, which most lower end uke' don't have. In summary, if I could give this product 6 stars, I would. A lot of care and thought in all the details from shipping, manufacturing, and design of product took place. This is the first guitar or ukulele I have bought that I am this satisfied with. My others I had found problems with after I received the product and had buyer's remorse. Two thumbs up for Kmise.

Pretty amazing value for money and it has a nice tone. We also have the Kmise ukulele and chose this guitalele because the value for money and sound are both great.

Really enjoying this for what it is, a very small guitar that’s great for travel, practice, guitar lessons with my grandkids, relaxing and playing outdoors or other places I’d rather not bring my more expensive guitar. Excellent build quality for the price, decent sound quality for the size, excellent playability the only thing I will change are the strings but that to me is expected on a guitar in this price range and some of that is also personal taste. Overall this is a great purchase if you are looking for a kids real guitar or something to travel and practice with hope this is helpful

I needed a small guitar to use in some music workshops I do with young kids. I tried a ukelele but wasn't satisfied. So I decided to give this a try after reading some positive reviews. Overall I am happy. Here are the highlights. 1. It really does feel like it is well-made. It looks very nice, and the little case is cool. 2. It plays in tune from the first fret on up. That's extremely important to me, and I've found that even on some much more expensive guitars the tuning is not "true" up the neck. This guitalele plays in tune. 3. The size is perfect for what I need. Even the strap (designed more for kids, I think) works OK. 4. The tuner is very basic, but works well. And you'll need it! Which leads me to the concerns... 5. While the instrument stays in tune (one string relative to the others) while you are playing, it does lose about a quarter-tone in pitch after a couple of days. So it doesn't stay at pitch, although it still sounds like it is in tune when you play it. It's just that the pitch will go down from where you had it. I was hoping that issue would clear up as the strings stretched, but after about three weeks it is still happening. 6. There are some odd tones I hear on a regular basis. I'm not enough of a guitar guy to know what they are, but probably some overtones and sympathetic resonance going on. 7. The nut is a little high, but I really don't want to pay $25 or more to adjust it when I only paid $100 more than that for the whole guitar. Doesn't bother me enough to want to spend more cash. Overall, it's OK for what I do. It's also something of a novelty. You have to get used to playing songs in different keys than you usually do because the tuning is a fourth above standard guitar tuning. Definitely handy for traveling and doing fun stuff, songwriting, practicing, etc. I think it's worth the money I paid.

The instrument looked beautiful and I was excited to play. When I went to tune it i realized the bone bridge was missing. I don't know how they could string it and not notice the missing bridge. I hope I can exchange it or they will send me a bridge. I don't like the idea of such a pretty instrument getting beat up in a return process. I was surprised at the quality until I noticed the MIA bridge. There wasn't much tension on the strings so maybe it fell off in production.
