I went full LED about six or seven years ago. The five acres immediately around the home can be lit up like a prison. An additional circuit will illuminate the gate area and about an acre around it. I use a homemade solar system to power that circuit. Because it’s too far to run service for me. (Old)I started replacing my halogen floods with those from one of the big box stores. This is a great big box store, but they sold inferior LED floods. They weren’t lasting anywhere near the lifespan advertised. I have been replacing the inferior LED floods with this product. I’ve had them longer than I did the inferior LEDs from big box and all still illuminate as advertised. I have had a slight lumen loss on one bulb, but that is one of the drawbacks of LED at this point in the arc of technology.I can operate over thirty of these for less than the wattage of a 500W halogen. Halogens last about a year. They are expensive and difficult for me to install.These make wonderful lights for indoor agriculture, but check the Kelvin ratings for grow and flower phases of the crop.
