Product as described, no major issues
The product does the job as the manufacturer advertises. It certainly is very useful if you have multiple computers but limited space for multiple monitors, keyboards and mice.Pros:1) Tested it with my two modern computers: one had VGA output, with other used DVI-to-VGA adapter. As in all new computers, both had keyboard and mouse to be connected through USB. On one of them, I used USB 3.0 port and the other 2.0 port. Inspite of the adapter and using USB 3.0 port, both computers had no problems in detecting the monitor and mouse while booting up or in normal usage. (Note: I haven't tried my wi-fi keyboard and mouse yet, it would be a huge plus if that worked too, that would mean I can control upto 4 PCs from a distance. I will also add my Raspberry Pi to the setup using HDMI-to-VGA and check later.).2) No additional power supply, it runs on the USB power of the input PCs, that is a big benefit as my power mains are already filled with sockets and I can do with one less.I have small gripes though too:Cons:1) The 4 VGA and 4 USB input ports on two sides of the unit. It would have been neat to have them all behind the unit on one side.2) There are no hanging holes under the unit, you have to keep it on flat surface. Though I will probably drill holes (hopefully without void warranty),3) The biggest gripe is that the switching is noticeably slow - about 1 second. For those who need to switch often, this is inconvenient. Perhaps that's what you get for the price you pay, this isn't super expensive.4) Came only with 2 cables though it supports 4 inputs. Not that the cables are expensive or difficult to find, they are standard VGA and USB cables, but adding two cables worth a few hundred rupees would have added a lot of value at a small price. Guess the manufacturer wanted to keep costs down as much as possible.5) The hotkey for switching between PC can be set to ScrollKey, CapsLock or NumLock key. Using CapsLock can be problematic as you may accidentally set it to a state you don't want while typing. If you're using a laptop dock like I do, most laptops don't have NumLock and ScrollLock. On a standard keyboard, these two keys are placed too far out on top right. This may be nit-picking I know, but adding double-Ctrl or other key found on all keyboards would be a definite plus.6) There is no indicator on unit on which hotkey is in effect.7) All LEDs for PCs are Green. For the PC which is currently active, its a brighter Green. I have to sit the unit at an angle where I cannot differentiate between bright and normal Green. Dual LEDs with Orange and Green would have been a logical ergonomic choice. After all these small gripes, I am still happy with the product as it serves a purpose of me not having to change keyboards or press monitor buttons to switch between computers. Go for it, you can probably live with the minor mistakes.

The good: - Firstly I love how the cables aren't ...
I'm somewhere between 3 and 4 stars on this one.The good:- Firstly I love how the cables aren't built in and you can leave cables all the way off for inputs you're not using.- The hotkeys for switching sources also work very well as does the beep the device lets out to acknowledge when a hotkey is being pressed (so you know they're actually working).- It uses standard USB device cables and VGA cables so expanding is easy if you don't want to buy the specialty cables. The Bad:- It is a little bigger than it probably needs to be, which I can live with.- There's no remote input switch, but there is one on the unit itself. This can be forgiven because the hotkeys do work quite well- It only comes packaged with 2 cables. Luckily they're standard type cables as noted above if you have them kicking around.- Lastly is the biggie that I'm trying to fix but don't know if I can: I'm getting a very slight power humm through my monitor, mostly noticeable on dark backgrounds. It's not huge, but I can definitely see it. It's a bit annoying as this is my regular use monitor and not just a console in a server room,

Worst KVM I've ever had
Looks good on picture but reealy bad product. Think i just madde a typo and typed double ee in really? It's not mme but this 'wonderful' KVM. It inserts double letters at random or misses some letter or spaces between words from time to time. It also disables continious press on cursor keys (forget document editing or games), shift or CTRL key. Try to select few items while presing CTRL. You will be surprised. I 've let it sit in the box too long before replacing my current KVM and I can't return it now, but this product is absolute garbage. Don't waste your money. Ohh and by the way it doesn't like some mouses. Some appear choppy and slow when conncted to this KVM but work fine when connected to other even cheapest KVM on the market. go soend your money on something else

Works.
Excellent device and very useful for my needs. I had an older rack mount drawer style screen, keyboard and track pad in my rack with internal hub and USB connection that didn't work with this device off the bat. I had to open up the screen module and bypass the internal hub for the track pad to work! This required attaching a standard USB connection to the internal USB track pad connector and routing a cable to the KVM's mouse USB connection.

Pretty disappointed overall
Pretty disappointed overall, several issues. Will be returning.Major issues:Issue 1: Switch PC works well sometimes but often need to press it multiple times to get it to do anything.Issue 2: Frequently inserts letters twice when typing, so youur sentancee looks liike thiss. FrustratingIssue 3: Occasionally keyboard stops working through the KVM and seems to only be fixed by removing power and re powering it.Minor issues:- Only comes with two KVM cables (this is really my fault for not reading the full description although still disappointing)- The way it is designed, the cables are pretty messyIt was a good price, but ultimately un-usable for me considering issues 2 & 3. This is based on using the KVM with Linux for about a day and have not tested it in Windows, maybe the experience is better there. Wouldn't recommend.
