Top notch well thought out body book for girls
My daughter lives this book. She's 11. A great addition to her health classes in school. Well written and appeals to preteen/early teen. She spent a fair bit of time reading and discussing it with her big sister who is 17. They both had fun with it and it has valuable information

Every Girl Should Read This Book
FINALLY a book about bodies, puberty, etc etc that makes kids feel excited about learning it instead of awkward and embarrassed! I have 2 daughters & I bought this for my 12 year old to read (my 9 year old will read it soon too). I am very open & communicative about the body but nontheless there are still things kids will try to avoid talking about with their parents in these areas. This book is changing that. She was apprehensive about it at first when I gave it to her, but she’s already made it halfway through & can’t stop gushing about it! She is becoming less uncomfortable talking to me about women’s bodies & periods (etc) & has been thoroughly enjoying the funny stories related to such throughout the book. If you’re on the fence, GET IT!

Amazing! Wish I'd had this in middle school!
Reading this book is like having a fun conversation with a hip, experienced older sister. It covers so many things. My 10 year old daughter is just on the cusp of the right age for it. She likes it. They style it's written in is just perfect for the 9-14 set. I especially liked that it covers things like photoshopping/media images of women that aren't realistic.
