Chicken Soup for the Kid's Soul: Stories of Courage, Hope and Laughter for Kids Ages 8-12

I read Chicken Soup books as a kid and teen, loved them and I remembered that while the stories were interesting, many of them have monumental lessons in them about honesty, integrity, love and family. I decided to purchase this for my 9 year old and he loved it, he finished reading it rather quickly. It became a conversation starter for our family as well, he would be so excited to tell my husband and I about the stories and it would lead to some pretty insightful conversations. Purchasing another version for him, at his request.

Great book!

My kids love the stories out of this and even help me out reading towards the end of each one as I'm usually crying! It has stimulated some good discussions and developed their empathy skills as they realise how lucky they are, and yet it's also so uplifting.

Great book for my grand daughter. She couldn't put it down.

I remember reading these when I was younger and I just got this book for my 9 year old, she also loves it!
