If you are like me you like having storage space on your motorcycle. This shelf is cool as to have whatever easily accessible and not falling down in the mist of all your saddle bag stuff. But it also gets in the way for larger items that you might want to store in your saddlebag like a 1/4 helmet or a backpack. I only installed one as to give me a place to store my gun and or my extra sunglasses. I like the fact that it is padded and it easily snaps into place. I guess if you wanted to take it out and store it down in the saddle bag and store a larger item, it’s possible. I just installed it and I can see where it will come in handy for those long trips and wanting easy access to my gun and having the peace of mind knowing it’s locked up.
