Bought this to add to other brass ornaments I have, this is purely my opinion these are well made, highly polished and look fantastic on display, once I unlocked the compass it found north strait away, it comes in a very well made wooden box with a brass fastener , the actual sundial is adjustable to put at an angle to display as seen in the photo, I bought a second one from a different supplier but with a slightly different appearance in sundial and box although made by the same manufacturer a little bit cheaper,I can't say if the sundial actually gives correct information or if the compass is pointing true North but these are great little brass ornaments none the less...Phil

Box although ok quality was way too big which sort of defeats the purpose .The compass has an ok feel for the price bracket .The person gifted it was very happy .
