Professional Level Kit
This kit definitely perms your lashes - the curl is still holding strong after 2 weeks. Overall I spent an hour in front of my mirror and did one eye at a time. The given instructions were very easy to follow, and I used tips from other reviewers. Most importantly follow the golden rule of perms: after using the kit don’t get your lashes wet for 24 hours.I also tint my lashes, so I did this step a few days ahead of time. Getting started with the kit the glue provided does work to stick on the shapers, just use a thin layer and let it dry for about 45 seconds before placing on your lid. Since the glue dissolves when it gets wet it didn’t hold my lashes on the shaper during processing, but I’m happy the glue gently came off my eyelids later! During processing I ended up combing my lashes into place the entire time, and next time I will try processing laying down, and get a friend to help. I learned the lashes hold precisely the shape you put them into while the chemicals are on. Since I prefer mine sideswept vs. straight up I will have to do this better next round. I also learned to use painter’s tape to keep my lower lashes out of the way and can see why people use lash pads. I like that a lash conditioner is included to use after the treatment, and it’s worth the extra step to put it on. Since using the kit I’ve started using castor oil on my lash line to help extend lifespan and it seems to have a positive effect.

Poor quality
I've bought this kit twice. The first time the product was really good. The product has now changed and it doesn't work at all. I've tried to pern my lashes twice with the new kit and I get hardly any lift at all. I'm so disappointed as the first kit I got gave me really good results. I won't buy it again.

Great Addition to "Pretty" Routine :)
I thought this kit was affordable. Someone was right saying it's easier if another person helps. I did however want to see if I could learn to do it myself and tweak some things to make it easier to do by myself. So the first problem I encountered was that the kit comes numbered. And those numbered items are not to be used in the order in which they are numbered! Like what the heck. Step 1: Use #4 bottle - I mean at least number them in order to make is a little less confusing. Next problem was that they didn't give an example of what the outcome would look like when using each silicone strip.. so I spent every bit of 45 minutes trying to decide. It says they are based on lash length but they are all the same amount of curving area, just different depth of curve. Confusing. Next problem, the glue is very weak for sticking the silicone straps on so they do lift off the edges which leaves some lashes unlifted or non-uniform liftage (is that a word?). They do suggest using your own lash glue if theirs is too weak. I'll definitely be doing that next time. After that, it says use plastic wrap over your stuff after you put it on. So I'm running all over the house trying to hold the ends down and find doggone plastic wrap! I ended up trying to use the plastic off the kit box. It wouldn't stay so I gave up on that after that step. Will be prepared next time. But THOSE those issues, the finished result was AMAZING!! It's been about 3 weeks and the lift is beginning to relax (I don't wear mascara) for a few lashes here and there but I'm definitely in when it comes to doing it again! Oh! And the lash curling stuff smells like a hair perm. Then I realized that's kinda what it is anyway. I did get a little in my eyelid rim messing around with the "plastic" and I could feel *something* - not like OH MY GOD THAT BURNS! or anything remotely close to anything uncomfortable - but I wiped it off and it was fine. [NOTE: Y'all... dont look at my mustache, and the pics loaded a little out of order. What is it with this out of order business lol]
