Mandala Meditation Coloring Book (Serene Coloring)

This book is great. Awesome variety of mandalas and the paper is terrific. Wish more coloring books had quality paper like this one.

I have a lot of adult coloring books and this is by far my favorite. If you enjoy coloring mandalas, this is the book for you. The designs are beautiful and intricate. I used to think the intricacy would overwhelm me, but I found this wasn't true. I use gel pens and start in one section and build out.It's satisfying and really beautiful. The only downside with this book is that there is a design on both sides of each page. But the paper is thick enough that it doesn't bleed through. The problem is that the designs are so beautiful, you might want to display both sides of the page.

I love this coloring book. It has 90 great pages of mandalas, and during the winter months when I was held up in here hours flew by when I was coloring.

I received this as a birthday gift and I couldn't be happier. Pages are good quality paper. Pretty thick. The designs are clean lines and pretty detailed.

I love coloring in this book. There are some really great mandalas in there with cool designs. Just wish I had more time to color.

Very nice book. My wife loved it and some pictures are not as detailed and my 6 year old will color those with her.

The first thing I noticed about this book was the feel of it. It just felt GOOD in my hands, I don't know how else to describe it. It has weight to it, which I like in a coloring book. Maybe that's just me, but when I'm coloring mandalas, it's generally because I'm in some kind of meditative need, so I'm taking it seriously.Anyway, upon opening the book I was not disappointed. The artwork is intricate and lovely. The patterns range from fairly simple (perhaps simple is the wrong word, accessible might be a better description) as you can see from the two WIPs I have attached (sorry for the shoddy camera work). On the first I used gel pen over colored pencil; the second is strictly colored pencil. The paper is heavy but smooth, I would call it smooth cardstock. I personally haven't had any bleeding with my gel pens, even without the first layer of pencils, but I would imagine alcohol markers would not be a good idea since the pages are double-sided. That's the sacrifice you make with books like this, so if that's your medium of choice and you can't see yourself using anything else, then perhaps this book is not for you unless you're willing to sacrifice the pieces on the other side of the page.I have no complaints about this book or its quality. In fact, I got a little bit of popcorn butter on the face page the day I got the book, and I wound up ordering a second copy because I couldn't stand the thought of having the page stained, hahaha! If you love mandala art, and you're not married to the idea of alcohol markers or other heavily wet media, I recommend this book. It's lovely.

Nice book, but I like really intricate mandalas and these for me are too easy.

This is my second copy , I just finished coloring the last one mandala. I prefer gel markers and they don’t bleed through. The paper quality is quite good, the only marker that I have had bleed through is a Sharpie. The mandalas are great and I can count on 1 hand the number of them that I don’t like.The only improvements would be if the pages were perforated to easily remove, and if the mandalas were printed on only one side. I will only color one side (I use them for crafts) and sometimes it is hard to choose which side. I also take an exacto knife and carefully cut each one from the spine. There is no way I can color if the page is not flat.This line of coloring books almost all have good drawings and the paper is a nice consistent quality. I have judged all mandala coloring books by this one and they are all found lacking. So far 😉

I have a dozen colouring books and this one is the best hands down, for several reasons.1. Very high quality paper. Drawings are on both sides and STILL the markers do not penetrate the paper. (I use Crayola Super Tips water-based markers)2. Wide variety of drawings from high detail to less detail3. Highly skilled designs that provide coherent, unified final product. Very satisfying.After I finished the book I bought a second, and may do it again.

Tres bon livre a colorier pour adulte. Il y a differant niveau de complexité de mandala ce qui est tres interessant. SI vous colorier fort avec votre crayon je vous conseil de placer une feuille blanche a l'endos du dessin parce que les mandalas sont recto-verso et l'encre imprime sur l'autre page.

Really good book at decent price. there’s nice diverse designs from simple to detailedOnly reason I didn’t give 5 star is because the pages are 2 sided and not perforated. my markers do bleed through although between the 2 designs on double sided pages I preferred one more than the other anyways
