Great publication!

A broad range of situations and common sense solutions. There were many examples of things that most people would never find themselves, but very entertaining to read. I found myself asking myself for the answer to solving situations before I read them. The book is a very expensive print job with full color bleeds on every page and lots of pictures and drawings. The pages are heavy and somehow makes you think the information is more valuable. There are metal grommets on the cover pages which will keep it from getting dog-eared in spite of the fact that it is a soft cover book. A good value for the money.

We have several "Outdoor Life" books. We hope to collect them all. The picture online does not show off what a nice book it is. The books have metal pieces on the corners that prevents the books from being damaged. There are color pictures for almost all the articles. The books are simple, well written and the content is interesting.

Fantastic book!! My Mom got it as a gift from a friend so when she showed me... I was smitten!! So much information for so many different circumstances...love, love, love it!!!

A lot of good stuff, but too much about a lot of things I don't care to know about. Does not go into a lot of detail about things I would like to know more about

If your going on safari or plan on hiking the back-woods, this is a good book to read.
