Sad to see the Raven Cycle finished
Can't believe I've finished the Raven Cycle series. I feel a bit underwhelmed after that because it was not the ending I was expecting. This book feels a lot like a send off to the characters, with all the four main ones being focused on - we don't see much of Blue's family or any of the minor characters expect from the odd chapter. Piper is very much the villain of this book and I think she was written really well in her weird thirst for power, creating a clear direction for the plot of the book whilst the overall arc of the story takes place.I just wished we got more of an understanding with what happens to each of the characters in the end - what about their families and what about other minor characters - what becomes of them? I am glad we got to see some explanation for little plots and understand why some things happened, but I need more of a satisfying end! Sad to see it go.

The perfect ending..
“Ronan would start wars and burn cities for that true smile, elastic and amiable.”This book was everything I wanted and more. Everything came together in this beautiful, magical and heart-breaking way.I had to stop myself from flying through this because I really don’t like endings, but this was perfect. My heart still hurts so, so much. That last hour was nerve-racking and excruciating.“That’s all there is.”

Love the Raven cycle
I have been reading The Raven Boys books since they came out, and have eagerly anticipated each new release. I could not wait for the conclusion to the story and to live with the characters once again.I was not disappointed, the relationship between Blue, Adam, Noah and Gansey is one of my favourite aspects of the series; for me, this friendship has an even stronger presence in this book, and I loved it!!! There's adventure, sadness, some violence and of course romance. I do think Maggie has a uniquely brilliant way of writing romantic storylines without making them the central focus of her books.I do think the final search for Gledower was a bit of an anticlimax, but this is compensated for by some of the events leading up to it and afterwards. Also, I think it reflects reality, life's events aren't always as spectacular as we expect them to be.I was sad to finish it, but I couldn't wait at the same time.I highly recommend this seriesThanks Maggie

A perfect end
This is the fourth book in the Raven Boys series. If you haven't read the first three I would strongly suggest you start with the others to get the full story. This one is as good as the rest of the series if not better. I liked the way it ended and everything seemed to tie up nicely. I love the main characters and feel slightly bereft the series has finished.A fabulous series all in all and one I would highly recommend.

Fell a bit flat
As somebody who ADORED the first three books in the series I was desperate to get my hands on the finale. However it was all a bit...meh. I didn't dislike it, but nor did I like it. There were some great parts but ultimately, for me the ending was flat. All the best series have a huge twist and all the loose ends are tied in a neat little bow, but sadly that wasn't the case here. Maggie's writing is beautiful, but at times she seems to spend so long writing about feelings and dreams that the actual story is lost.
