Miracle Toothbrush for Severe Gum Disease
I get the negative reviews. I really do. If you're a normal person with healthy gums, or even mild gingivitis, then I honestly wouldn't recommend this toothbrush. The bristles are too densely packed and fine, incapable of cleaning between teeth or scouring off plaque and tartar. It definitely does not function like a regular toothbrush that we're all used to.So you may be thinking, ok, so what is the point in buying this if it isn't going to do what you need it to do? And I say this: this toothbrush likely isn't going to cut it for the average consumer. But this toothbrush is an absolute miracle if you're like me and have severe gum disease. The kind whereby even the most "extra soft" conventional toothbrush is painful to use, even when brushing gently. My most painful area is the hard palate, right behind my front teeth. It's a vicious circle: I need to brush there to strengthen my gums, but brushing is painful so I avoid that spot. Look, I've been dealing with gum disease and bone loss for years, and I must have tried every toothbrush on the market. None of them were pain-free and resulted in my continuing neglect of the painful areas. This toothbrush was literally the cure. No joke, the first time I used it I had NO gum or palate pain. I honestly couldn't believe it! Needless to say, it helped tremendously in getting my gums back to a state where they're now healthy enough to handle an extra soft conventional toothbrush. There is definitely a market for this kind of toothbrush. This is who I think would really love it:1) I consider this to be more of a gum brush than a toothbrush. People with extremely sensitive and/or painful gums I think will really appreciate the comfort these nano bristles provide. This need not be your permanent toothbrush... Just step one in the process of gum recovery. When your gums get stronger, you can graduate up to a more conventional brush.2) People who brush more than the average person that may be experiencing damage to their enamel. Or, if you NEED to brush your teeth immediately before or after eating which isn't recommended since brushing temporarily damages enamel for around 30 minutes or so leaving your teeth prone to tooth decay. Firm isn't always better when it comes to preserving enamel.Yes, like I said, it isn't really an ideal toothbrush if you're looking for what you're used to. It's not a one-and-done tool. It's still absolutely necessary to floss and mouth rinse to separate anything stuck between your teeth. If you were already doing those things anyway, then this toothbrush shouldn't be that much of a leap from what you'd expect. It's just weird at first because of how soft and densely packed the bristles are.

Great little toothbrush
Bought these for my wife. She doesn’t have sensitive gums, but has always enjoyed soft-bristle brushes. These feel amazing. They are soft on the gums, almost tickle in the softer places of your mouth like the roof. They do a fine job at getting in the cracks. The only reason for a 4/5 on the cleaning is that since there are so many bristles, it doesn’t feel like it gets in the tight spaces perfectly. I floss, so it’s not like it’s truly a bother, but it’s just something to note on an otherwise wonderful buy. These are the little things that improve your life in the small ways. You should be brushing your teeth everyday, so why not enjoy it while you do it?!

Not extra soft
I have actually purchased these multiple times. I’ve purchased them nearly every year since 2020. But this year when I got them the bristles seemed much more stiff than the ones I’ve had previously. The last time I purchased this product they arrived quickly and in good shape. This time the boxes arrived broken and it took nearly 2-3 weeks to get them. I’m not sure if that’s a reflection in a supply chain change or what.Either way, I was super excited to get my new set for the year because I love the ultra soft feeling in my gums and I usually walk away feeling like my mouth couldn’t be any cleaner. I was really disappointed to use them today and the bristles were just… tough. Instead of the feather light bristles I’ve grown to love, these bristles felt almost like a medium bristle brush… just with more bristles. Which was not great. The product is inexpensive and I hate wasting a product so I might use them for cleaning around the house… either way i will be buying a replacement from a different brand. I just wish there was a way to test them in a store. I haven’t found any product like this at my local shopping centers.

Bought for myself, an autistic adult
I'm autistic, and I've struggled with tooth brushing for a very long time because it is sensory hell for me.After breaking a tooth, I decided I needed to take my dental hygiene more seriously. But to do that, I needed to address what made tooth brushing difficult for me.The roughness of the bristles (even on soft brushes) and the harsh flavor of the toothpaste have been the main issues for me, with some problems with my gag reflex.I opted to find an extra soft brush, and this one does the trick! It doesn't make me bleed as much as a regular toothbrush, and it's much more comfortable. The small head of the brush is also a plus, and I've barely gagged at all using it! Combined with the toothpaste I chose (shown in photos alongside and on brush), this has completely changed the experience of tooth brushing for me. It's much more tolerable and I look forward to doing it.A side note: Let your dentist know if you are using an extra soft brush! My dentist told me it's fine to use these, but I will need to go in for cleanings four times a year instead of two because it's not as thorough.
