Smells Great having a mixed smell
Works well, and I find it reasonably useful for daily use. Smells great and not too strong.

Low-cost gifts that everyone appreciates
Every year I buy these candles in all sorts of scents as low-cost gifts for my co-workers over the holidays. Everyone appreciates them. They smell so good, and the scent fills the room. These I bought for myself! It is a special thing to have moments by candlelight where you can reflect on life, and these bring a little peace to a hectic day, and with calming scents to add to the effect.

Really nice scent, but it didn't linger long after the candle was extinguished.
I really like the apple-cinnamon scent. But after I blew out the candle the scent didn't persist very long. I'm not sure that other scents would be much better, but I have found that a pumpkin scent can last quite a bit longer.

Cozy Fall Vibes Without the $30 Price Tag - These Budget Candles Actually Smell Expensive
What Makes These Exceptional for the Price: Cashmere Woods Scent is Surprisingly Sophisticated: This doesn't smell cheap or artificial like many budget candles. It's a warm, woody, slightly sweet scent that reminds me of expensive boutique candles. Think sandalwood, amber, vanilla, and soft musk. It's cozy without being cloying, masculine without being aggressive. Genuinely pleasant. Smells More Expensive Than It Is: Multiple guests have asked what candle I'm burning, assuming it's a premium brand. When I tell them it's a $4 Glade candle, they're shocked. The scent profile is complex enough to fool people into thinking it's high-end. Perfect Fall/Winter Scent: This is ideal for September through March. It creates that hygge, cozy-sweater-and-fireplace atmosphere without being overly seasonal (no pumpkin spice or pine). Works year-round if you like warm scents. Better Throw Than Expected: For 3.4 oz candles, these project scent impressively well. I can smell them throughout my 200 sq ft bedroom when lit. They won't fill a massive open-concept living room, but for bedrooms, bathrooms, and offices, they're perfect. Clean, Even Burn: Both candles have burned evenly with minimal tunneling. The wax pools completely across the surface, which means you're using all the wax you paid for - not wasting it stuck to the sides. Long Burn Time for Size: Each 3.4 oz candle has lasted approximately 18-22 hours of burn time. That's excellent longevity for this small size and price point. Minimal Soot Production: I've had very little black residue on the glass jars. As long as you trim the wick properly between burns, these burn cleanly without excessive smoke. Scent Lasts Throughout Candle Life: Unlike some budget candles where the scent fades halfway through, Cashmere Woods maintains consistent fragrance from first light to last. The throw does weaken slightly in the final 20% but remains noticeable. Metal Lid Preserves Scent: The tight-fitting lid keeps the fragrance fresh between uses. I've had these sitting unlit for weeks, and the scent remains strong when I relight them. Unbeatable Price Point: At roughly $4-6 for two candles (prices vary with sales), that's $2-3 per candle. That's insane value for this quality and scent. Gender-Neutral Scent: This isn't overly feminine or masculine. Works equally well in any room for any person. My husband actually likes this scent, which is rare for candles. No Headache-Inducing Strength: Some candles are so strong they trigger headaches. Cashmere Woods is present but not overwhelming - just the right strength. THE CONS - Keeping Expectations Realistic: Small Size Means Frequent Replacement: At 3.4 oz, these don't last long if you burn them daily. I go through one candle every 2-3 weeks with regular use (burning 1-2 hours most evenings). The low price offsets this, but it means reordering frequently. Scent is Warm and Heavy: If you prefer fresh, clean, or citrus scents, this woody vanilla profile will be too heavy for you. This is definitely a "cozy cabin" scent, not a "spring meadow" scent. Not Ideal for Summer: While I love this year-round, most people would find it too warm and heavy for hot summer months. Best suited for cooler weather or air-conditioned spaces. Glass Gets Very Hot: The jar heats up significantly during burning. Don't touch it while lit, and be careful placing it near anything heat-sensitive. Keep away from kids and pets. Limited Room Coverage: Don't expect these to scent large, open spaces. They're designed for small to medium rooms (up to 250 sq ft max). Wick Can Mushroom: If you don't trim the wick between burns, it develops a mushroom-shaped carbon ball that increases soot and flame size. Requires basic maintenance. Paraffin Wax Base: These are standard paraffin wax candles, not soy or beeswax. If you're eco-conscious or prefer cleaner-burning waxes, this isn't ideal. Availability Can Be Inconsistent: This scent sells out frequently, especially during fall. I've had to wait for restocks or check multiple stores. Color is Plain: The wax is standard white/cream. No aesthetic visual appeal beyond the basic jar. These are functional, not decorative. REAL-WORLD USAGE OVER 4 MONTHS: Total Candles Burned: 4 complete candles (2 from original purchase, 2 from repurchase) Burn Pattern: Typically 1-2 hours per evening, 4-5 times per week Locations Tested: Master bedroom (200 sq ft): Perfect Guest bathroom (50 sq ft): Excellent, almost too strong Home office (150 sq ft): Ideal Scent Longevity: First candle burned for approximately 20 hours total before empty. Scent remained consistent throughout. Maintenance Required: Trimmed wick before each burn (takes 5 seconds). Cleaned soot off glass weekly with paper towel. Guest Reactions: 7 different visitors commented positively on the scent. 3 asked what brand it was. 1 bought their own after I told them. Seasonal Testing: Burned from September through December. Perfect for fall/winter atmosphere. Haven't tested in summer yet. COMPARISON TO OTHER CANDLES: vs. Bath & Body Works Mahogany Teakwood: Very similar scent profile. BBW is slightly more complex and has better throw, but costs $15-27 vs. $2-3. Glade is 70% as good at 15% of the price. vs. Yankee Candle Midsummer's Night: Comparable woody scent. Yankee has longer burn time but costs $12-30. Glade offers better value. vs. Target Threshold Wood Cabin: Similar vibe, slightly better wax quality, but costs $5-10. Glade is equal quality at half the price. vs. Glade Hawaiian Breeze: Completely different scent families. Cashmere Woods is infinitely better if you like warm, cozy scents. vs. Dollar Store Candles: Huge quality gap. Dollar store candles smell terrible and burn poorly. Glade is worth the extra dollar or two. SCENT PROFILE BREAKDOWN (MY INTERPRETATION): Top Notes: Soft amber, subtle bergamot Middle Notes: Sandalwood, cashmere accord, vanilla Base Notes: Woody musk, tonka bean, light patchouli Overall Character: Warm, woody, slightly sweet, sophisticated, cozy, inviting Strength Level: Medium (7/10) - present but not overpowering Throw Distance: 8-10 feet when actively burning Best For: Bedrooms, living rooms, offices, bathrooms, anywhere you want warm, relaxing ambiance WHO SHOULD BUY THESE: Fall/Winter Scent Lovers: This is THE cozy season candle Budget-Conscious Candle Fans: Premium scent without premium price People Who Love Woody/Warm Scents: Sandalwood, amber, vanilla lovers rejoice Apartment/Small Space Dwellers: Perfect size for compact living Anyone Seeking Relaxation: This scent is genuinely calming and soothing Bath & Body Works Fans on a Budget: Get 80% of the experience at 20% of the cost Gift Givers: Affordable, universally appealing scent for hostess gifts or stocking stuffers Men Who Want Candles: Gender-neutral woody scent appeals to everyone WHO SHOULD SKIP THESE: Fresh/Clean Scent Preferences: If you like ocean breeze, citrus, or floral, this is too heavy Large Space Needs: These won't adequately scent big open rooms Summer-Only Use: Too warm and heavy for hot weather Eco-Conscious Buyers: Paraffin wax, not sustainable materials Daily All-Day Burners: Small size won't last long with continuous use People Wanting Decorative Candles: These are functional, not aesthetic statement pieces PRO TIPS FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT: Stock up during sales - I've seen 2-packs for $3-4 during promotions; buy multiple Trim wick to 1/4 inch before EVERY burn - Prevents soot and ensures clean burn First burn is critical - Burn for 2-3 hours on first use to establish full wax pool Don't burn longer than 3-4 hours at once - Small candles can overheat Pair with dim lighting - Creates maximum cozy atmosphere Burn in evening/nighttime - Scent pairs perfectly with winding down Keep lid on between uses - Preserves fragrance strength Buy extras before fall sellout - This scent disappears from shelves October-November MOOD/ATMOSPHERE CREATION: Perfect For: Cozy reading nights Movie marathons with blankets Date nights at home Winding down after work Weekend morning coffee Rainy day ambiance Guest bedroom preparation Creating hygge vibes Pairs Well With: Hot beverages (coffee, tea, cocoa) Soft throw blankets Fireplace (real or fake) Dim warm lighting Acoustic music Comfortable loungewear VALUE BREAKDOWN: Cost per candle: $2-3 Burn time: 18-22 hours Cost per hour: $0.10-0.16 Equivalent premium candle cost per hour: $0.50-1.00 Savings: 70-85% compared to premium brands Repurchase rate: 100% - I've already rebought twice OVERALL VERDICT: I'm genuinely shocked at how much I love these budget candles. The Cashmere Woods scent is sophisticated, cozy, and addictive - everything I want in a fall/winter candle. The fact that it costs $2-3 per candle feels almost wrong given the quality. Are these better than $30 luxury candles? No. But are they 90% as good at 10% of the price? Absolutely. For everyday candle burning where you want your space to smell amazing without financial guilt, these are perfect. I've gone from buying one 2-pack as an experiment to keeping 4-6 candles in constant rotation. That's the behavior of someone who's found their signature scent at an unbeatable price. WHO BENEFITS MOST: Budget shoppers wanting premium scents Fall/winter ambiance seekers Small space dwellers Frequent candle burners Anyone who loves woody, warm fragrances People discovering this scent for the first time Gift givers needing affordable but nice options WHO SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE: Fresh/citrus scent preferences Large space coverage needs Eco-conscious natural wax buyers Summer scent seekers People wanting decorative statement candles BOTTOM LINE: Four months ago, I bought two Cashmere Woods candles expecting mediocrity. Today, I'm on my third 2-pack and considering buying more before they sell out. This scent has become my signature fall/winter fragrance, and I've converted multiple friends into buyers. The value proposition is insane: premium-smelling scent, reliable performance, and a price that makes guilt-free daily burning actually possible. Sometimes budget products surprise you, and this is one of those times.

Smells Heavenly
I bought these Glade candles to get same day delivery on another item, and what a find! I had no idea what Cashmere Woods smelled like, but the reviews convinced me to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. The scent is a very soft musky floral, with a mix of fall leaves and the woods. Amazingly, I didn't even have to light the candles to get the scent to fill my house. I simply placed the candle on my coffee table and within minutes my house smelled wonderful. My only complaint is how small the candle is. The holder is a nice size, but the wax only fills the holder a tad under halfway. That said, the price is very reasonable, and I know I can buy them in a larger 3 wick size, which I plan to do. In fact, I love Cashmere Woods so much that I plan to buy the plug-in and automatic spray for the bathroom. If you’re a fan of fall-like scented candles, you'll enjoy how Cashmere Woods makes your house smell. As I said, you don't even have to light them to get the benefits. Definitely recommend.

Scent is too overpowering
Everyone knows Glade makes quality, long lasting candles and this set is no exception. It may be just my preference, but I find the scent too overwhelming. After only a few minutes I had to put it out and open the patio door. My husband said it was like nerve gas. I won’t be purchasing again. I’m not disappointed, the powerful smell just wasn’t for me.

This scent lasts forever!! I would say it burns for approx 24-36 hrs. Its a smaller size candle but for its size it lasts considerably quite a while. Great value!
