I was silly placing this order. I just needed a proper pair of kilt socks and didn't pay much attention to the details of the listing. I did not realize that the order was shipping out of UK and was bummed that the package didn't get to me in a week.After a week, I went back and saw that these were going overseas so the week+ wait time was to be expected. After 3 weeks I got frazzled and contacted the seller.The seller apologized and promptly sent me a new pair of socks. The replacement came in the mail in about a week and a half.I couldn't be happier with the quality of these socks and the service of the seller. I will be making all of my future kilt socks orders here.

Having only very recently gotten into kilt wearing and culture, I did not know what to expect from my first pair of kilt hose. All I could picture was a very vivid memory of Uncle Stephen and his Leiderhosen at the family picnic all those years ago,..these are memories I would rather leave behind, like a bad bowel movement after a night of raucous debauchery.The wisdom of the Internet told me that "cream" was the traditional color of highland stockings; given my already milky complexion (the joy of being a northman in the winter), I decided against the dairy and went instead for how a man drinks his coffee: black. My kilt is of a black background, as is most of my wardrobe, and thus the decision seemed fitting.The package came extremely quickly via Royal Air Mail. Upon receipt, I tore open the seal and revealed a very beautiful pair of socks. They were black like the night and the design wove up and down the length of fabric like someone late for work in midmorning traffic. As I pulled them over my feet, they seemed to magically fuse to my leg, perfectly framing the chiseled marble of my gastrocnemius. My feet felt as though I was standing on baby lambs, and I swear I heard the intoning drone of a solitary piper off in the distance.All in all, a great buy, and I highly recommend them to everyone. If you're lucky, you'll have 1/10th the experience I had.
