Good quality washing machine
I wanted a washingmachine that was easy to use had a good range of programmes including short ones and didnt require me to take out a mortgage to buy! This ticks all the boxes. A simple hand dial to select the programme but with a good digital display that tells you the programme, the duration and maximum weight in kg. It is quiet and very stable ( my old machine was like a space rocket taking of when it went into spin). This one is great. I have had it now for a couple of months and the washing quality is excellent and as far as I can work out the energy consumption is very good. The programmes vary from 39 minutes for a delicate wash to 2h59m up to 3h+ for a full 7kg wash depending on the programme. The one I use most is a 1 hr wash for a mixed load with a max of 4kg. This machine might not be the best if you are a big household with lots of washing to do weekly. But if your needs are one or two washes a week this is great value. Highly recommended.

I've fallen in love!
Well, I never thought you could fall in love with a washing machine, but there you go! Every time I walk past and see it sitting there, I think, wow, you're so beautiful! Had it for 6 months now and so far it's working great. No problems at all, just bung in the washing, press a few buttons and away it goes. The max speed is 12,000 rpm but never needed more than that anyway. Yes it takes a bit of time in some of the cycles but it's not a problem, unless you're really desperate for something clean. It's beautifully quiet much of the time, just purrs away on it's routines... Spinning is a bit louder but you'd expect that. And the 7kg load is fine if you're just one or two people. All in all, dead happy. Will provide an if things go south.

Very easy to use
I bought this on the recommendation of Which? magazine. It is very easy to use , and you get a printed instruction booklet. I particularly like the i-dose system. Very quiet and the washing comes out spotless and fairly dry. Would strongly recommend this

needed some time get used to
It is an inexpensive washing machine. I give it 4 stars due to the low price. I washes clean, does what it is expected to do. Do not over load it. Make sure the exhaust water pathway is super clean before use. There is little tolerance build in.Machine measures weight of garments and will take longer if loaded heavily. The speed perfect setting is not always as fast as indicated if load is heavy. It tries to balance load before spin. When washing a bathroom matt, I had to add some towels, so it could balance and spin. It tried to balance the one item for a long time, never spun, I had to terminate with the matt still very wet. With additional small items in the drum it managed to find a balance and spun at 800 rpm, finally. A bit frustrating!Very good energy efficient at 40 degree mixed load or 30 degree dark wash programmes. Below 0.6 in the former and 0.3 kWh in the later. Whilst the 40 degree Cotton wash takes over 0.7 kWh, 60 degrees over 0.9 kWh.Glad I bought it, previous machine also was a Bosch, gave way after 10 years, not sure this one will last as long.

Looks like a good buy
Great delivery from the two friendly guys. Really wasn't sure if Amazon delivery for such large items would work, but pleasantly surprised.Product great. Great capacity. Living up to positive reviews. I used a decibel reader to confirm and found it better than specified on the washing we did.Note to Bosch: With all the tech inside nowadays, how about a little gyro device to display on screen when the product is level? When installed in a tight unit space you can't easily get a level. Got there, but took some time and ingenuity.I can't see that a delivery team could do this satisfactory in the time they would spend. Hence I didn't book that service and glad I did it myself.Overall pleased.

Washes well and reasonably quiet but no crease-guard cycle leaves clothes creased.
Bought this to replace a much loved Zanussi that was showing it's age after 15 years. I'm not too taken with the looks but it's simple to operate and washes well. I tend to use the eco 40/60 programme for everything which is nominally 3hrs 18mins but it depends on the load as the washer will vary the time accordingly. The limited set of programmes is enough for me and there's always the "speed perfect" button which significantly shortens the wash time (on qualifying programmes) without affecting wash quality (they claim). There are also seperate rinse and spin cycles if needed and the spin speed is selectable down to no-spin for all programmes. My biggest gripe is that after a wash programme completes there is no crease-guard reverse tumble cycle and the washing can be badly creased esp after the 1200 spin. This seems like an unforgiveable oversight in a modern washing machine as this could easily be implemented in the control software - unless it's a value added feature in the more upmarket models? strangely the spin only programme includes an (inadequately short) reverse tumble cycle - My 15 y/o Zanussi would reverse tumble for 3 minutes after each wash cycle and it made a huge difference.Update: After 6 months of use I have noticed that continuously washing my workwear on the the 40/60 eco cycle has led to my clothes having a persistent unusual/unpleasant odour which I assume is a bacteriological issue. I used to wash these items on a 50deg wash with my old washer without issue. Doing a 60deg wash with a bactericide (lactic acid) has eliminated the odour for now but this a higher temp than I'd like to use with these fabrics. I'm not sure what temp the eco 40/60 program uses but it may well be inadequate for antibacterial action. I have downgraded the rating by one star to reflect this.

Happy wife happy days.
This washing machine is so quite when in use you forget it on until it beeps to say it's finished. As with all things Bosch quality of materials shine through and space for fitting has been given due consideration. If you want quality at a very reasonable price look no further. The Amazon staff that delivered this product could not have been nicer and followed all Covid protocols. Nice one Amazon.
