The Moon Juice Manual: Adaptogenic Recipes for Natural Stress Relief

Great book!
I received my copy last night, so I haven't had a chance to try recipes yet, but I can already tell the book will be a favorite. It is filled with beautiful and inspiring images, as well as great information on adaptogens. Expert contributions are peppered throughout, and recipes fill half the pages. Adaptogens are excellent for stress but tough to use if you don't know how to incorporate them into your diet in a tasty and consistent way. While each of the author's sections is divided by the names of the famous "dusts" in her brand, the recipes do not require you to use her products. I appreciate her generosity and transparency to enable the reader to create powerful mood "dusts" independently; and look forward to trying the sharable, family-style treats.

I've been counting down to this release
I received The Moon Juice Manual two days ago, and have been devouring it since. I like the way the book is broken down into the different sections. It's really practical and I've already incorporated some of the recipes into my daily routine. The power butter is delicious! Nice mid afternoon pick me up. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for practical, easy ways to incorporate adaptogens into their daily life.

Such a great resource
So happy ACB wrote this book. This is a great introduction to adaptogens, even if you don’t use the Moon Juice products.

I was disappointed by this: Poor quality publishing and repetition of content throughout .
Arhhh!! I was so excited to get this cookbook, it has been in my Wishlist since I first realized it was being published my now I finally have a copy in my hands, I am quite disappointed!I will preface this by stating I am a Moon Juice fan! I have a pantry full of their products and love their store in Venice. I also really love the Moon Juice cookbook but this is nothing like that -at all! The reason I was let down was the overall quality of this book. It looks honestly like one of those self published books which have their place but as Moon Juice is a premium brand, that comes with a premium price; the book is not exactly reflective of the brand! The script is ALL OVER the place and in many pages begins 1/3 of the way on to the page leaving vast open paper - it seems to be done to accommodate the ingredients panel that are on some pages and create uniformity but just looks odd and unfinished like someone pressed the wrong button on a Word document.I also found a lot of the content totally redundant, and things were just added for page fillers such a whole age defining stress and its effects which I am pretty sure anyone spending $40 on a of adaptogens, already knows or is capable of Googling. The descriptions of the different adaptogens; was however useful although again a little basic and it is REPEATED in the book - for example: On Page 66 they define Cordyceps, then again on page 155; albeit in a slightly different way. This repeated time and time again with each ingredient - first during the descriptions of adaptogens and then again in the chapter in which they are used - maybe in case you forgot or simply need it in two places?! How hard it is to refer to the relevant page in the book ?Again it just felt as though this was written in rush and the pages filled with repetitive information to create content. There are not that many recipes at all - and as you can imagine, they all require a pretty complex pantry of adaptogens which thankfully I do have but if you don't , please be mindful of thisAgain, I love this brand, loved the last book, but I don't think this will be a keeper for me ! It is a shame as I was so looking forward to it!
