This is the best thick wool. 20 % wool but it is washable
Great quality, wish amazon would be consistent with pricing. Depending on the colour, price of this wool varies from 8.97 to over 50.00 per unit. Michaels sell it for 9.99 .

Soft, easy to use yarn
Pretty colors, soft feel, easy to use. One of my favorite brands of yarn. Fairly good durability, even with some tugging it doesn’t come undone easily

Not equal!!
Bought 5 for a project and the first yarn was great. Started on second and it was not thick and chunky at all but much smaller and thin.

Good yarn
I was told that £10 per ball was a bit pricey for something that's only 20% wool, but I've enjoyed working with it and I do think you get value for money as it's very durable. I wanted to knit a scarf and bought this to practise on. I made a few mistakes and ended up having to unravel it to start again a few times times, and it held up amazingly well. See photo - this is what it looks like after being worked on and unravelled three times. Still looks like it did the first time. Not bad at all!
