No it does not work as an anti-humectant , it’s a gloss with glitter .

You use that after you wash your hair to blow dry. It locks out humidity. Don't use any other styling products until you've dried your hair. I purchased it thinking it was similar to a Karatin treatmemt which does the same thing.
