Sturdy
This fit on my cane perfectly. It is much heavier than the one I had on previously. It stands up easily. I was concerned that my previous one was slipping on my tile floors and I was afraid of falling. This one is less likely to slip.

Wobbly
Not any better than the original single-point tip. Just get a quad cane if that's what you need.

This is the one for comfort and safety…
The slight curve at the edges of this Able Life cane tip is compatible with natural arm movements (no hard landings), and the sneaker-like gripping-base solidly and securely grabs wood; tile; carpet; concrete; macadam; gravel and grass surfaces. The slight weight of the tip (about the weight of an empty pottery coffee mug) keeps the cane standing upright, so it is stable even with the curved edges. My husband felt so much more comfortable with this tip that we discarded the three other types we had previously purchased, and bought two more of this tip for his other canes. Interestingly, the Able Life quad cane tip did not come up when we searched on Amazon, which may account for the lower sales and fewer reviews—we found it via a Google search, then came back to Amazon, searched by brand name, and found it here.

Tryed all the stand alone bases--this one is the best
For a self standing base for a standard cane I have tried mostNone are as perfect as a true quad cane for stand aloneBut this one beats all the others to add to a standard caneThe entire base is covered with small grippersOn tile or wood floors just let go of it--It staysCarpet just be a little careful but it stays thereOutdoors not too well but none I have tried do eitherMy cane was a little loose in this but a couple wraps ofelectrical tape took care of that

Poor fit-too small for cane
Poor fit. My cane is the size they recommended. It was a mm too big for the tip. The cane is a well known brand.
