Not Going to be on the Menu, But....
I admit I'm a little lost on how to rate this. I want to be fair. The only complaint I had is the same problem you get with any variety mix. Sometimes you don't get enough of each kind, and sometimes the package lacks one of the varieties. The bugs were dehydrated and in that state rather difficult to tell which one they were. I was glad that the legs and heads fell off, which made them easier to eat. The texture was not that bad. It didn't feel like you were eating a bug. The package contained mostly worms. I don't know which one it was--the Sago or Silk worm. Of course, of the ones I tasted, they tasted pretty decent...a mixture of cheddar cheese and wheat germ. The crickets and grasshoppers tasted like cat food to me (and yes, I did try that once as a kid).I was curious, and this satisfied my curiosity. I accomplished one wild and crazy thing on my bucket list--and compared to things like jumping out of an airplane, I guess it was one of the cheaper thrills. Oh, by the way...the package looks smaller than it does in the picture. I feel satisfied with this one accomplishment, so I can go back to being boring again. I doubt bugs will ever be on my menu unless that zombie apocalypse thing happens.

Parrot likes it
I'm personally not interested in eating bugs in these modern times, and certainly not at $25 an ounce. Insane. This was purchased as a healthy treat for a parrot.More for you!

tastey
Good nutty taste sanitized not scraped from the ground but from a farm. Good source of protein, just don't get the flavored ones.

Y'all have no idea how much I wanted to like these!
I am an enthusiastic eater! I have wanted to explore insects as food because of the information about the protein source they provide. Don't order these. They're disgusting. I am just starting to dabble in entomology as a viable food source and this product makes me never want to try again. I still feel like I have cricket legs in my throat

Great Christmas bugs.
Every year at Christmas, my niece and I eat bugs. Last year we’re hotlix insect suckers. This year was chocolate covered scorpions. They were great and we had a fun time.

Yuck!
My teenager and I wanted to be adventurous by eating bugs! We were going to start with a tarantula but decided on the centipedes instead. We watched a ton of videos of people in South East Asia eating these things all different ways, but the most common way is fried like these are.The good: The ingredients are simple. 2 ready-to-eat Golden Headed Centipedes that have been boiled & oven dried. The bad: I'm sure it's not easy shipping crunchy bugs without them breaking apart but they did come with most of their legs broken off. Overall though, they both remained mostly in tact. The ugly: They tasted awful! A strong nutty flavor followed by the taste of burnt nuts then a very annoying feeling of tiny little bits of what I could best describe as eating a shell. The aftertaste was even worse! Granted, this is only my opinion about them and others may enjoy the flavor and the mouth sensation but I did not and neither did my son.We tried to feed them to my cats and out of the two, only one ate some and even then, she didn't want to finish it. The other cat smelled it and decided it was a toy rather than something to snack on. He refused to eat it.It's a bit pricey for an experiment but I'm glad we did it to some extent because I do like trying new things. I only wish it had been a bit cheaper. My husband made us promise to stop wasting money on our taste adventures for a while.
