This remarkable writer has explored the facts behind horror movies in such great detail that you can almost taste the atmosphere of the real stories behind them. If you are into true horror stories, this book is certainly "A Must Read". Thoroughly enjoyable and captivating to the end.

I really enjoyed this book, and found the true stories (not all crime) that inspired the horror films really interesting, albeit some more than others.There are photos to accompany the stories, in the middle of the book; some of the films and some from real life that were the inspiration for said films.

Love horror books and such great find

If you're a fan of horror and true crime, you will love this behind the scenes look at some classic movies. It's very well written and includes photos (always a plus)! You may be surprised at some of the real life events filmmakers drew upon to create these familiar movies.
