These are really comfortable and yet flattering and pretty. I can't stand skinny waist bands on panties - they dig and are uncomfortable. These are soft with good higher leg openings, don't ride up, and while they do sometimes ride down at the waist it only happens when I'm really bending over or stretching up. Otherwise they stay in place perfectly. They are quite stretchy and therefore don't offer any sort of "control" benefit, but because the fit is so flattering it will bother you less. Really pleased and have ordered more.
