Sturdy, heavy gate. Beautiful!

Kept my 17 lb dog away from guests. Didn’t tip over when he leaned against it. Hight was perfect for my dog and us, we were able to step over it but my dog wasn’t able to jump over and he’s a jumper!It has a rough oak stain which gives it a rustic but elegant look.

Was worried this would fall over a lot, but this is the most functional gate we own! We have about 4 different styles of gate for our dogs, and this one tops all of them! Very beautiful & functional. Easy to move, open, or close with one hand. Has not tipped. I should note however that our small Frenchies are not jumping on or pushing our gates, so our use might be quite limited compared to most. But we love this gate & would buy again. Does have a strong wood stain smell out of the box, but very quickly dissipated.

Most dog gates are difficult to install and use and are complete eyesores. This gate is heavy, well-made and the stained wood looks just like a quality piece of furniture. As it's freestanding, you can move it around as much as you want, for longer spaces you can create a zig-zag with all 3 panels, or you can make a simple V shape by folding one panel back, which is enough to block most standard doorways. All 3 panels fold flat to easily store or move out of the way when not in use.My dog is a tall and skinny 70 pound Great Dane/Pit(!) mix and the gate keeps him out of where I don't want him 90% of the time. I only gave 4 stars as a determined dog can nudge the gate out of the way sometimes, but since it works most of the time for my big dog I would think it would be pretty foolproof for small and medium dogs. I bought two because it's the first really good-looking dog gate I've ever seen and very versatile.

Keeps my big guys out and my little girl in. Attractive design and easy to use. Great size and study product. I get compliments.

This gate may be pretty but not at all useful. The hinges are totally cheap and only fold one way. So the gate can only be positioned in a Z pattern. That’s it. So not exactly helpful in blocking off an area. In 30 years, it’s the ONLY gate I’ve ever purchased that the hinges are only 90 degrees. It’s going back!!! Too pricey for such ridiculousness!!

If you're looking for a dog (or any smallish animal) gate to keep your little monsters contained in an area, this gate is great.First off all, it was packaged perfectly. Had a bunch of those little silica dry-packs in the box (make sure to pick them all up so your animal won't get them) to keep the gate from warping or anything (yes, it's actually real wood!). It was also wrapped up with packing sheets to keep the sections from rubbing together.It's beautiful, looks like furniture quality, but also hefty so most smallish animals can't push it out of the way for their escape. It also folds easily, and stands on its own so you can tuck it away when you aren't using it.All in all, very happy with this purchase.

Our little dog has been very crafty with past attempts to keep him confined but I needed something to block him from our guest room where my 90 year old parents were staying at Thanksgiving. I figured that trying the gate was cheaper than a broken hip. I could not be happier with the purchase. Gate is attractive, easily blocks the hallway from the kitchen to the rest of the house, doesn't have latches or screw into the wall - easily moved to get through and our little guy hasn't even tried to get by it, over it, etc. I kept waiting for him to try and nudge it or knock it over but he just sits looking through it. Parents were happy to not have to worry about him getting underfoot (or jumping in bed with them!) and it's proving useful even after they have gone home. Highly recommend!!!
