I’m a reseller and have tried so many different tapes but I always come back to this one.

I bought this hoping it would be more like paper than plastic and I'm satisfied.If you're using this tape to completely cover up labels, you may need two or three layers because the tape is a bit transparent (see photo).Although the tape looks slightly glossy, its easy to write on with pencil, ballpoint pen, or permanent marker.When I tested writing on the tape with highlighters, felt markers, and rollerball pens, the ink easily rubbed off after a few seconds, while the permanent marker, pencil, and ballpoint pen writing did not smudge.The tape feels less adhesive than clear packing tape, but it's sticky enough for keeping packages closed.

I ship books most days this tape is great.I hate the "cello" shipping tape. It's always gets stuck on roll and you need a dispenser or scissors to cut it. You can't write on it. (I don't know but I imagine it's a bear to recycle.)This tape can be torn by hand. It doesn't need a dispenser. And, to my knowledge, it's never failed. The boxes I tape can be pretty heavy!PS: I only use paper envelopes and cardboard boxes. I dont' know how well it works on plastic or tyvek envelopes.

I have been using this tape to make hand made journals. I use it to hold the spine to the book covers. I use a tiny bead of glue around the edges of the tape as reinforcement as book/journals get a lot of wear and tear.The tape has plenty of adhesion for it's intended use. It cuts and tears by hand nicely. I can add decorative items to the top of the tape and it will glue and stay nicely.I have not used it to seal cartons but I can verify that it sticks very well to paper products. If needed I will certainly grab this tape before I grab my clear packing tape as I think this tape will work better on boxes.

Use this at work to seal cardboard boxes for shipping. Sticks great, cuts easily.

Good quality tape.

UPS and USPS will no longer take packages wrapped in brown paper. If there is anything printed on the box you ship in, you need to cover it up. This tape is perfect for that use.

I’m shocked at how one piece is enough! We will definitely be switching to this full go at our shop!
