Non traditional use
I purchased this to make a sand battery. This is hooked directly to a solar panel and then ot is used to heat sand. Works precisely as I expected.

Works but wire melting hot
Works great, but runs very hot. The tiny bolts are hard to connect to. The wire casing melted. I thought it was the wire size so I up sized it and the coating melted. Needs high temperature wire.

Works great in my solar dump load
Works great in my solar dump load. On a sunny summer day I can keep a 20 gallon hot water heater hot with my surplus power off my 1.5kw array.

Great for solar!
This was used for solar direct water heating using a 144 half cell solar panel and it worked great!

Nicely Made
I haven't installed it yet, but I tested it when it came in. It warmed a 1G stainless bowl full of water by 20F in about 30 seconds. It looks well made and there is a nice thick silicone gasket to seal it in the bulkhead. Kudos, Denord!

Works Fine
Improvised to submerge it in a DIY solar heat reservoir. Works fine. Only thing I am not crazy about is the pair of small terminals on which I needed to connect 8 gauge wires.

so far,so good
Hooked it directly to (4) 240w solar collectors to heat water. On sunny days, performs quite well. Not very efficient but works.
