PENGUIN Artemis Fowl: Film Tie-In

It's not easy to find books where the protagonist is an anti-hero. I love the journey and the transformation of the character with every incident/book. Eoin Colfer has done a great job in creating this amazing world and the characters therein. Not to mention the wicked sense of humor.

I bought this to read as a class project with my year 5/6 SEMH pupils. This book has an amazing plot which the pupils can keep up with, as well as touching on sensitive topics in an intriguing way. I’m loving it never mind the kids!Great book, highly recommend.

Artemis Fowl ist ein wundervolles und erfrischendes Buch für junge Erwachsene - aber auch für alle Altersgruppen darüber. Intelligent, witzig, spannend und schön geschrieben überzeugt dieses Buch vor allem auch durch innovative Ideen und ausgereifte, ungewöhnliche Charaktere.Mit Harry Potter würde ich es allerdings nicht vergleichen, denn wenn auch beide Bücher im Fantasy Genre angesiedelt sind, so sind die Geschichten und Charaktere doch vollkommen unterschiedlich.Fazit: wer einen leichten und doch guten Lesespaß sucht, der ist bei dieser Reihe genau richtig.
