Hair U Wear Wash + Wear Moist Shampoo (8.5floz)

This is the shampoo. I normally buy at my wig salon. It is an excellent product and highly rated. The scent is pleasant, a very small amount is all you need to shampoo your wig and it leaves the wig very soft and shiny.

I wear a lot of hair pieces, all the time, from toppers to slip in curly buns. This shampoo is great for soaking those for 30 minutes, and it rinses easily under cold running water. It has a fresh smell that disappears when dry. All sweat odors are removed and the synthetic hair is ready to be brushed and worn after drying. We have moderate humidity in my part of Kansas, and I don't seem to have to use synthetic conditioners after shampooing the hair. I have used used it with a wig once, and had the same excellent results.

This review is for both the HairUWear wig shampoo and leave in conditioner. I’ll keep this simple… I wear wigs just about every day, and because I wear a lot of makeup including full coverage foundation, the front third of my wigs tend to pick up foundation and lipstick. When wigs get dirty from makeup, they lose their shape and softness. Other wig shampoos I’ve tried, require a lot of hand agitating, which the manufacturer’s instructions say do to do, to get them clean. Following the instructions, I placed the wig into a wash basin with cold water and the shampoo. To my amazement, a few minutes later, without any agitation whatsoever, the water in the basin was dirty and when rinsed, the wig was spotless! After it dried, I used the “Restore” leave in conditioner to remove any knots and smooth the hair. It too worked perfectly!
