I would guess most users of this product are artists or illustrators, so when I was researching these drawing monitors it was difficult to find any reviews that mentioned its use for doing cartographic and GIS work. I am a GIS analyst and cartographer so this review will be based on my experience using the product primarily for digitizing map information in Esri's ArcMap. I have not used the monitor to do much artistic drawing (I only tested it out in Adobe Illustrator to see how it responded).Overall, the experience has been excellent. I bought the 2021 version of the KAMVAS 16 after reading the reviews of the older version and the PRO 16 and deciding that despite the fact that the product was very new and had no reviews yet, I would go for it based on the updated design and positive reviews of the previous and sister products. The monitor arrived in a very nice package, well protected and everything neatly in its place in the box. I opened it, followed the setup instructions, and had the monitor connected to my laptop and the driver installed in about 15 minutes. One note on connectivity: make sure you have an open HDMI port or know what kind of adapter you'll need to make it work on your computer or laptop if you aren't using the USB-C connector. For my setup I purchased an HDMI/DisplayPort adapter since my laptop and work PC both use the DP output only.Previous reviews of other Huion monitors mentioned problems with the drivers. I had no problems whatsoever installing the drivers on Windows 10 64-bit on an older Lenovo ThinkPad T420 (Intel HD 3000 graphics) as well as a nearly new HP desktop I use at work. Both machines recognized and allowed me to connect and use the KAMVAS 16 as a monitor and the pen as an input device. You might need to go into the Windows 10 settings for pen input and check the box to allow the pen to function as a pointing device (mouse), so keep that in mind if the pen doesn't work right away for pointing.Using the monitor is really nice. The screen is clear and the surface is great to draw on. The glass is relatively thin and the pen seems to be right on the image I'm digitizing from, so very little trouble with accuracy. I definitely use the included glove to keep my hand from smudging up the screen. The pen comes with lots of tips stored in the included holder (very handy), although I don't know how much you have to use the pen to wear the tip out. I've used the monitor for drawing for an estimated 40 hours, and the pen tip is as responsive and works as well as it did out of the box. The screen is still nice and clear, no scratches. I use the included stand and it serves my purposes just fine.One of the best parts of this monitor are the customizable shortcut buttons on the side. While they are a bit cumbersome/time consuming to set up in the driver software, they are customizable for each app you use the monitor with which is a great feature. The monitor driver(?) also recognizes which app you are using and the buttons change function accordingly. Some folks complained that the buttons don't light up, but I don't work in the dark and honestly once I get used to the buttons' functions I operate them without really looking at them.Overall, and for the price(!!), this is a great product! No hesitations in recommending it for the type of work I do. I will update this review if anything changes as far at the product longevity, but functionally I am very pleased. Excellent for improving my productivity and saving me time: in just a couple months it has paid for itself already!

The media could not be loaded.  Great screen tablet! It’s my first one and I have to say that it’s a great buy for its price! It came in the original packaging and came with a glove, pen, pen holder/10 nibs inside, a cleaning cloth, the 3 in 1 cable, and the cable extension cord (for the red usb plug-in)! The screen has great color (just a bit more vivid compared to my computer screen). The screen is smooth and has awesome anti-glare! I use a MacBook Pro 13 inch and this is the perfect size for me, not too big to feel weird to carry around and it’s basically the same size as my computer. I suggest watching my video review so you can see how to plug everything in for MacBooks and how I resolved a problem I had with the pen. If I have anything to say, it’s that you should 100% order the USB-C cable that Huion offered for this tablet. I didn’t get it because I’m dumb and didn’t want to pay extra since I have an adapter. It works fine, but the cords are so stiff that if you move just a bit the cord will pull the adapter right of of you computer and you’ll have to plug it right back in and wait for the screen to fix itself again. It’s not too bad because I don’t move around too much but it’s super annoying. The only way I could get the USB-C cord was to get it straight from the Huion website which cost me more lol. I even tried using the Apple USB-C thunderbolt cord and first of all, it didn’t fit in the hole to the tablet so I had to shave down the plastic sides, and THEN I still got a error screen and it didn’t work. So now I have an ugly looking cord. But on Huion’s website they recommend that you only buy their cord because others won’t work (at least the Apple one doesn’t for me). But anyways, overall it’s a great tablet! Haven’t used it as a screen for my Nintendo switch bc I’m still waiting on that USB-C cord but I heard you can do so! Idk how practical it would be since using it with my computer makes my computer heat up, but I imagine it would be good for a short round of a game.P.S. you NEED to have this plugged into a computer or something, it doesn’t work on its own, and it does NOT come with any drawing or art programs like a Wacom tablet does but none of these are negatives for me and should be obvious from the description of the tablet.

I recently bought this product for a replacement for my older Wacom Cintiq 13HD.I am blown away at the quality of this product so far. Though I haven't used it extensively yet, from my tests this new tablet blows my old one out of the water.The 1440p resolution is fantastic and honestly the best bang for your buck at this size, the colours are bright and vivid too.There is virtually no parallax and the pen is very nice and responsive.The initial pressure activation point on the pen takes a little more pressure in comparison to my Wacom but it is still excellent and I wouldn't really count it as much of a down side. The driver setup was easy and it worked without any troubleshooting.Since I am from South Africa I had concerns regarding plug compatibility but the charging brick has support for our voltages here and all I needed was a new clover power cable and it worked like a charm.I'm very glad I took a chance on Huion. They are making fantastic products and if you are considering getting this drawing tablet and are wondering if you will be happy with it, then from one artist to another, I can fully endorse this product.The only thing I miss is the eraser nib at the back of my wacom pen.As far for other recommendations, because of the size of this drawing tablet, I'd recommend getting a macro pad like the CoolerMaster ControlPad for hotkeys to go along with this.As far as shipping goes, I received my product 6 days after purchase which is phenomenal considering I am in South Africa. It was packaged professionally and came without any problems that I can tell. Excellent supplier and service. I'd gladly buy from them again.Overall I rate this product a 9.5/10 with a major stamp of approval.

Me llegó aproximadamente 20 días antes de lo estimado como máximo, nunca tuve idea de dónde estaba mi pedido fue virtualmente imposible seguir el envío, sin embargo me llegó todo bien. La tableta me llegó con conector de voltaje europeo pero y sin adaptador. Pero no es un problema mayor para mí.En general estoy muy satisfecho con la compra y recomiendo mucho tanto el producto como a la tienda.

Como artista que já usou uma wacoon e huion básica (sem tela) por anos eu sei dizer o quanto difícil é se adaptar ou o quão demorado fica fazer devido a perda de precisão de riscar em uma tela e olhar em outra .Ainda estou a utilizar e me acostumar, mas desde o início ela é muito intuitiva de desenhar, os traços saem mais precisos e rápidos, a respeito dela facilitar o desenvolvimento de Ilustrações eu senti uma melhora na velocidade e facilidade de fazer traços e linhas mais precisos.Existe algumas questões a respeito dela que é importante estar ciente, a tela tem um tom de cor saturada então é importante saber filtrar as cores utilizando filtros ou editores de fotos, para quem está acostumado talvez não incomode, mas para quem não tá acostumado é importante ficar ciente que pode ter alguma diferença para um monitor normal ou celular. Outro detalhe é a parte dos cabos, achei que mesmo com um adaptador para aumentar o alcance ainda sim o cabo é curto então é importante garantir tomada perto e duas entradas USB no pc ou notebook mais uma entrada hdmi.Ao que se diz a respeito do vendedor (Andu US), posso dizer que é confiável, ao menos não tive nenhum problema sobre as minhas dúvidas sobre a taxação, que não tive que pagar nada, vi alguns casos de outros produtos de outros vendedores que solicitam que você pague e eles retornem o valor, mas não foi meu caso :)Dentro da encomenda estão inclusos a mesa de tela, os cabos 3 em 1 USB, cabo usb-c para aparelhos suportados, luva, lenço para limpeza da tela, suporte para a mesa , pontas reservas, caneta e um manual. Após algum tempo percebi que vem uma película de proteção anti reflexo já embutida na tela <3Em geral, a encomenda chegou dentro do prazo, como eu pesquisei eu estava ciente de todos os detalhes então nada foi nenhum problema que eu não estava ciente. Se você tem as condições financeiras para comprar eu recomendo, se quiser trabalhar com arte essa aquisição pode ajudar na velocidade e resultado a médio e longo prazo. Espero que meu feedback ajude a tirar suas dúvidas, ao menos tentei abordar sobre os temas que tinha preocupações antes de comprar.Após quase um ano de uso posso dizer que tem ajudado no geral meu trabalho com desenhos, gastando menos tempo corrigindo erros, conseguindo assemelhar de desenhos feitos na folha. No geral recomendo o produto a todos com a disponibilidade :)(nada a reclamar com um ano de uso, com exceção do tamanho do cabo que é razoavelmente curto, mas sendo justo é um problema da huion e não do vendedor)

A good looking quality device. Hard to set up and you can only use it remotely with your phone and it eats your phones power quickly. Also you cannot use it with a laptop that has a second monitor, you have to disconnect the monitor each time you use the tablet.
