Pressure Cooker Safety Valves
What can I say? These are pressure cooker safety valves. They melt open if the pressure cooker overheats, and stay closed if it doesn't. Since my Hawkins Futura pressure cooker hasn't gone dry, it hasn't overheated, and these remain on hand to ensure that I'll be able to continue to use the pressure cooker without waiting for parts, when and if that happens. The one in the cooker is functioning properly. The method of replacing them seems quite straightforward, and I don't anticipate any problems with following the directions.

Perfect fit
This product has been a game changer in my kitchen. I had a hard time to use the cooker function well. My grandma was able to use to change it so that was not hard. the only thing is we just needed one, I wish it was an option.

Brilliant replacement, certainly genuine I have had my Futura stainless for maybe 10 years and this is the first time I have needed to replace the safety valve. I used a tube spanner and it was very easy. Highly recommended.

Perfect fit
Please make sure you have the exact size wrench. Do not use pliers or similar tools. The part is made of Aluminum and pliers will leave marks.The valve however worked perfectly and was a perfect fit for our cooker

Overpriced
Overpriced for something that costs 2 dollars at most, RS. 25 each.Works okay the ring was glued to the packing and the item was ages old.
