Took many hours to build. I got it for my boyfriend as a Christmas present, instructions are clear and it highlight which parts you need to take off the boards. Careful when taking them out, they seem easy to break, not our case we were careful. The tyres took us the longest to do as it has many little parts to fit in a small circle. Wood is sturdy and thick. Some parts need to be waxed, wax is provided. Very enjoyable, would recommend to anyone.

This was a fun build. I have completed over 50 of these kits, so the ease of assembly was expected. Care is necessary when following the instructions so examine the photos for proper alignment and positioning. Especially on the monster wheels! Pieces fit well, and I had no broken parts. The truck looks great on the shelf. I believe this is not a beginners kit, but I think a teen could be successful with some adult guidance.

I have built over a dozen of these puzzles and this was a really fun one. The drive train was simple enough to work well and the spring motor works better that the normal elastic ones. The suspension works really well. The toughest part of the build was the tires, juggling so many pieces to install the center locks ( I found putting on the elastic bands around the tires helped quite a bit).
