Furniture Clinic Leather Glue 50ml - Polyurethane & Water Based - Easy to Use, Strong & Flexible - Used for Repairing Leather

I wanted to repair a 'hinge' on a leather box which was literally just hanging on, so firstly I put some glue along the hinge line, then used a hair drier to set it, which took a good 6 minutes.Realising that it would be unlikely to hold long term, I then decided I would reinforce it by gluing some 1" wide linen webbing (matching colour of course!), one again drying with the hair dryer for 6 minutes.I must point out I am no leather expert, far from it, in fact this is my first attempt at repairing leather but the end result was really impressive, all right not perfect, but I did the same thing on the other leather hinge, so it matched and it looks really good, my wife was impressed anyway.The point is the glue did it's job, and I suspect a lot of the negative reviews are because the users didn't dry the glue with a hairdryer, and let it air dry, and that is despite it saying to dry with a hairdryer on the bottle.Conclusion :A good leather glue and worked well for me, giving a good strong result.5 stars from me !

It is easy to use 10/10, good value for money 10/10, performance 8/10 due to not being fixed there forever but I think is still good, drying time 8/10 I think it needs a bit longer to get fully dry, adhesive properties 7/10 it is good but not for active places where you you touch and move a lot.

Good and flexible for patching in tough situations. Coat leather patch liberally, and then use a fan heater to set the glue, which is a little awkward, but works well. Patched the arms of a chair where wear and tear is tough, and stays in place well.

I used the glue as instructed, applied it and heated it with a hairdryer on its highest setting. After five minutes the glue was still liquid.
