I wasn't sure if it would be too cushioned, but now I don't think I could go back to any other way.It's ridiculously comfortable, grips the wheel tightly, doesn't impede my steering, and if your hands are cold you can rub them quickly on the texture to create friction and warm them right up. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.I should mention that I am a big guy with big hands. It may be too much for someone with small hands.
