The lamp is beautiful and I do love the dimmer, but the lamp I received was only 7 3/4 inches tall and I ordered the 8-9 inch one. Needless to say if I wanted the 7-8 inch lamp I would have ordered it. Also, when I unwrapped the lamp the bulb inside had shattered in transit and a shower of glass shards fell out; luckily this had happened to another reviewer (who bought a different size lamp) so I was forewarned. If the lamp I received had been the size I had paid for I would have given this lamp five stars.Edit: the company contacted me and gave me a partial refund because the lamp was the wrong size. Since they dud go through the trouble to make sure I was happy with my purchase, I changed my rating to four stars.

I am in love! This salt lamp is large and lovely - the color of it a very appealing array from medium orange to the loveliest soft peach. I have to admit - that like other reviewers - one of the first things I did out of the box - was lick the lamp. It is pure salty goodness. I leave my lamp on 24/7 on my desk in my home office so that it can work it's magic while I work mine! It has not perspired or puddled at all. The dimmer on this lamp is a really great bonus and the bright setting is very vibrant. I now want one of these in every room! The company was really great about following up on this product via email and mine arrived completely damage free.

I love these lamps. I have them and the basket ones all over the house. I am allergic to dust and this keeps the dust down and I am feeling much better. It also helped me through all the flu's going around.

This lamp seemed like a great addition to my home. I like the concept of the salt lamp a lot, and was impressed by the pictures and description. However, this lamp did not meet expectations. It is partially discolored and covered in some kind of dusty, fibrous substance I have yet to find a way to remove without damaging the lamp. I am not very happy with this particular lamp. While I love the dimming feature, the rock itself is mostly white. It definitely doesn't look close to 'white' in the pictures.. all the pictures I see including the one on this review - show medium to dark shades of oranges. the lamp itself doesn't get very warm - which if I understand correctly, should get warm in order to provide the benefits. very disappointed in it.. but at this point, I feel like it is just a very expensive night light.

I've had 2 of these for quite awhile now and love them. I t hink its been 3 years and only changed light bulb in one so far. I leave these on 24 hours a day 7 days a week and at night I'll come into my living room with only these lights on top of my wall entertainment center and pray and love the amount of light and energy it puts out. Again at a fraction of the original cost. Will be buying for Christmas presents this year for friends and family and decorate them in festive garland rings and ornaments.

I love my new Salt Lamp. It is a substantial piece and heavier than expected. The dimmer is an added bonus for setting the proper mood. I love the warm glow it paints on my walls in the evening. The orange, pink, and yellow colors are just about perfect. I would have been excited to have received this as a gift, but am still happy with buying it myself. I would highly recommend this product.

Wow! Even nicer than the ones I have seen at my local health store and at a fraction of the price. The dimmer switch is great too! It is a comfort to fall asleep to, and it looks great in my bedroom. This is a lamp that is well suited for home or office. I will be buying more. They would make a great gift too. Thank you!
