I bought these beads to use in my hairstyle for the Black Panther movie premier. They were cute wooden beads. They didn't get 5 stars because the holes weren't punched through all the way on many of them, and the little jagged pieces of the partially punched out wood tried to snag my hair sometimes when putting then on my braid or twist. The other reason it didn't get 5 stars is that the patterns painted on the beads wore off after a couple days which made me sad because I bought these beads over other bead choices because I liked the patterns. I wish it had come with a beading tool to make putting them in my hair easier, but I didn't deduct for this because they never said in the description that they came with one. The beads and patterns looked cute when I first did them and wore them to the premiere, so I was happy with them overall.

These beads were a lot smaller than I expected, I made them work. Had to do smaller braids. Shipped quickly. Only negative was that I counted 28 beads that didn't have holes through them, only on one side, so I couldn't use them and 5 were shaped weird🤔. I bought several different beads and used them all to see how they fit. I would order again but not for anyone with really thick hair.

Recently I came up with the brilliant idea to make Bracelets for all of my Family Members for Christmas. So I did the usual thing. I looked up the info I needed to get started and I began buying tools, other parts, and of course Beads. Unfortunately the first information I got wasn’t clear on Bead size.After having bought these Beads along with others, I came across information that said Beads from 6mm to 10mm are better for making Bracelets. Without the luxury of good selections in stores at this time I am hard pressed on knowing what I’m buying. Yesterday I made a “Sample Bracelet” for myself to see how it would look. I used these Beads with another selection of Beads that I bought, along with Spacer Beads.These Beads are pictured larger than they are. The other Beads I used were even smaller. I followed a larger, smaller, then Spacer Bead design until I threaded enough Beads to finish the project. The Bracelet came out well. I even wore it awhile.I like these Beads. They’re attractive and colorful. I haven’t any real complaint about the Beads other than their size. But that’s my fault. Would I buy these again? Yes? Since I already know how they look at least I wouldn’t be surprised. These are really nice for making Bracelets for young girls. And stringing on their hair too. I’m a bit more flashy. I prefer larger jewelry. The four stars are for the Bead count, colors, they’re wooden, and the price.These Beads come packaged in two packages of one hundred each and placed inside of a bigger bag. I think that’s a good idea to have divided them up. I have more control of the Beads that way too. I am looking forward to purchasing more Beads soon.

First off, I want to say I love the beads designs. They are unique and actually very pretty....*HOWEVER*, I am extremely disappointed in the size! They appear way bigger/wider in the pics.....as usual with a lot of things on Amazon.Moral of the story- Everything is not what it appears on screen. Make sure you read the sizes when purchasing beads,(or anything for that matter) and actually get a measuring tape to see if that size will work for your needs. I can use these for other projects which is the only reason I am not returning them, but I can not use them for what I wanted & specifically purchased them for....which was to add to macrame wall hangers I am making to sell. I doubt the cord will even fit through the holes....and if it does, you will have to be 'nose to the wall' to see the designs on the beads.😆We shall see though. I will update IF they do fit.
