make my full leather shoe water proof again. had used it twice then my shoes dead.... this is still a good one, just my shoes could not live that long ....

Produces a waxy finish on smooth leather boots, walked through wet grass and I could see water pooling on the leather so it seemed to be working well. Don’t use on nubuck or suade.

Like all their other products, Nikwax’s liquid waterproofing wax really works. It’s easy and quick to apply. Do it before wearing, of course, but like everything else, one treatment won’t last forever. So if you feel some damp (or more) coming through, do it again. It can (should) be applied when the leather’s already wet, and the waterproofing is good again (in fact, their waterproofing wax cream is possibly better for while you’re already outdoors in the wet; the tube’s also easier to keep in your golf bag or rucksack). Not only is the leather waterproofed, it is kept supple, so it doesn’t get dry and cracked over time. I use it for my golf shoes and regular street shoes.
