0.7(oz) Premium Dark Amber Resin Incense -Natural Solid Incense, Aroma

I have kept a piece of amber resin in a wooden box on my desk for years and it finally stopped providing much if any aroma. I ordered the Dark Amber as a replacement and it smells fantastic! I was also given a sample of another amber resin and it smells fantastic too. Thank you!

After burning the smallest pea sized Amber oncharcoal the sweet enchanting scent lingers.

The amount of resin you get for the price is adequate. Resin arrived in a plastic jar. The resin does smell of amber, however there is a peculiar musty smell that overpowers the amber. At first I thought it might be some sort of transfer from the plastic which also had a particular smell. The musty smell does seem to permeate all the way through the chunk of resin. As I said, the odor is musty. It reminds me of the smell of a very old house, like an antique shop?I tend to use amber resin as a perfume or just leave it in a soapstone to diffuse into the air, so I cannot comment on how this resin smell when burned. Perhaps the musty odor would disappear when burned.I would say you are taking your chances on this product. I would send this back if I thought that I would get a different result.

I have fairly extensive experience with various types of resins for quite a few years I must declare. High quality Amber resin has indeed been a favorite. What I am used to as various types of Amber resin have been delightfully fragrant to the point of being a tad intoxicating. It is soft and oily to touch. It almost melts when touched or picked off to be placed on a burner. Some use it as a perfume as it literally melts on the skin--allergies notwithstanding. This product lacks the moist oily aspect of the Amber resin I am used to. It is actually a bit dry. Its smell is just OK and somewhat muted--definitely not pungent. It puts out quite a bit smoke, more so than what I am used. Subjectively, the fragrance leaves me a bit apprehensive. I burn it in open air--definitely not what I would like to use to smudge the space in the house. Cost is reasonable while quality is questionable.

I burn the resin on charcoal. And it's so sweet and so beautiful.

Nice scent

The smell is very damp, not anything like any other amber I've ever used. It smells very bad, and smokes a lot. It burnt up very quickly too.

Smells incredibly bad like it's gone rancid. Very chemical and cheap packaging do not recommend

When I melted the resin there was a mold smell, I had to throw everything away.Quand jai fait fondre la résine il y a eu une odeur de moisissure, j'ai du tout jeter.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I had some given to me by a friend and, believe me, it does really work as an aphrodisiac!
