My 95 yr old dad has been taking Lily of the Valley Aloe Vera Gel for well over 50 years EVERY SINGLE DAY!! He usually buys it at Sprouts but I think they are phasing it out. He lives at a Senior Independent Community and probably has 5 employees and 13 residents taking this along with at least 25+ customers & family members!! He takes NO meds, still drives and still cuts hair as a barber!! It’s hilarious! Nobody believes his age!! 🥰

I was sent the wrong product! I ordered the aloe inner filet but was sent the whole leaf. I love the inner filet and am using this bottle because I can’t send it back for food safety reasons. Love the inner fillet but also got used to the whole leaf. The whole leaf product is thicker but both taste the same. The value is the same.

....it is very important to note and remember that the whole leaf used to make this aloe gel will have most people needing to be close to a washroom, if you know what I mean. Although I'm not sure what the whole leaf aloe is recommended for, there must be a good use for it. I did find out from a doctor that the INNER FILET of the aloe plant is best for taking internally, and is great for soothing the digestive system, including the esophagus (the 'tube' where food travels down into the stomach). Aloe gel is well known for external application, to assist healing, perhaps the whole leaf could be considered, a point I have yet to research.

Bought a bottle last week of this aloe vera juice and it poured out as a thick gel. The previous bottles that I had bought, the liquid inside was watery, like a juice. What had changed? Lily of the desert (producer) has now added carrageenan, which makes it into a gel. It looks good. You are led to believe you are getting something better, but you are not. It is not healthier. There is a lot of controversy over carrageenan as a food additive. Deceptively, Lily of the desert now also has another product out that is preservative free apparently ( just aloe vera juice and lemon juice) but it’s double the price. The original product I really liked, it worked good for me.
